Kasim has been to install our Internet today and been great. Talked us through the whole process and such a nice lad, only wish I could give him more stars.
Good company to deal with, engineers that came out (Dan and Sam) to install internet were very professional, easy to talk to and methodical in their approach to fitting equipment. Whole process has been good and customer service is good with little waiting times and always willing to help.
Is this the same company as IX WIRELESS? Read the reviews on this site. Have now got a cable zig zagging along our road which already has underground cabling facilities installed! Look at what has to be installed on your property to receive signals. Then ask as to why SKY are doing away with satellite dishes! Look on Facebook 'Residents against IX Wireless'
I live in an area that currently doesn’t have High Speed Fibre available so I was excited when I started to see adverts for 6GI. I called the sales team and they told me that the top package (300mbs) was available so I went for it. The installation date came and the engineer turned up and after running a few tests he told me that the 300mbs wasn’t available to me but the 100mbs service was. I told him that the sales advisor said otherwise and his comment was that he wished the sales team would stop telling people it’s available when it’s not in some areas. I opted to go for the 100mbs option as it was still going to be faster than the Sky service that I was currently getting. After going up on the roof and putting up a 3 Foot aluminium pole (looks awful) and then running black cable down the side of the house, they began to set up the routers etc. After an hour or so I was informed by the engineer that there was an issue with the tower and that they would have to do some tweaks in the following days to bring the speed up to 100mbs. A week passed and the speed was at worst 25mbs and at best 75mbs. I run speed tests daily and I’d say 40mbs is the average. About 2 weeks later I received a call from 6GI and they said that they would need to come back to the house and run some tests so we arranged a visit between 8-12 on the following Sunday morning. You guessed it… they never turned up on the Sunday or at all since. I phoned customer services and they told me that their system said that the appointment was made in error. Well the only error as far as I was concerned was the fact that they were a no show! Interestingly, the customer support call ran a check on the speed while I was on the phone and it came in at 72mbs which they told me was in the acceptable tolerance for the service. So basically they offer 100mbs but if it comes in as low as 70mbs then that’s OK for them. On the same call I told them to run another test and this time it came back in the low 60s and as such they could escalate this to a service issue and that somebody would call me back. That was a couple of weeks ago and still no call. I don’t like leaving negative feedback but I feel in this case it’s warranted. I will try and progress things next week in the hope that things may improve (more in hope than expectation).
Absolutely amazing experience Wi-Fi was down for a whilse but this man got it back up and running in no time umar is the top man to go to
So this is the company who is blighting your neighbourhoods with those horrible new telegraph poles. Making your streets look like spaghetti junction, wires all over the place. There an eyesore, pure and simple. So my review is based on not getting their broadband, never will, even if it's the last option abailable, but on the shocking way they have put posts up everywhere just because they can do so without planning permission. There a plague, a nasty company who puts money before the people. There has been NO consultation with the people where they have slapped these posts outside their homes. Do not buy their broadband, there's plenty of other established companies who haven't gone against the people in installing massive new posts everywhere. They could of done a deal with BT for use of their posts already there without making outside your homes more uglier with more. 6G, you have my name, put it on your ban list because I will NEVER have your service for the way you've done this.
Can't fault so far! From installation to service. Installation day was straight forward! He came installed, cleaned his mess, checked I was getting speeds in every room. I've had 6g for a month and not had a single problem! Speeds haven't dropped. Fingers crossed it stays that way
Initially sceptical after a failed installation, the second visit by Sam was very impressive. He pulled out all the stops and was polite & professional despite challenging circumstances! I'm only 2 days into the service at the moment, but so far we have the promised speed.
The 5 stars are for a lovely gent called Bradley , he were polite and friendly and left my home tidy.😊
Absolutely shocking!!! Called on behalf of my disable daughter who has had nothing but problems from the get go , despite third manifesto stating that they take extra care with vulnerable people . She wanted to cancel during her cooling off period but was told to give them a chance , by this time period had lapsed! Constant dropping out and extremely slow , she has tried to cancel on numerous occasions and been told she will now have to pay £380 for the privilege! Customer service is shocking and if I could give a negative score believe me it would be a minus . I would advise anyone who is thinking of going with this company to think king and hard cheapest clearly doesn’t mean value for money !!!
A lovley man named Danny came out to fix my WiFi problems, within 2 minutes it was sorted. Very reliable, came in the time slot that was given and was very polite.
Had 6g Internet installed today by a young man called Bradley, absolutely faultless, professional, courteous, nothing was too much trouble, tidy from start to finish, made sure everything worked, checked signal all around house, very polite, an absolute star 🌟.
ULTRA SLOW. Very unreliable. At least every other day 6Gi has issues. Either VERY slow or NO internet. Can be 1 hour can be 3 hours a day like this. DO NOT buy 6G they lie about speed etc. Its like being in the 1990s again. Dial up 28bps speeds. Beyond slow. Worst internet service I have EVER had. VERY poor customer service. AVOID...! My honest review.
Had my 6Ginternet installed after one of your Sales Managers(Dan) talked with me and I couldn't believe once was installed how fast my applications open Engineer really professional didn't leave before all my devices were connected .I write this review nearly 2 weeks after was installed ,really recommended 5 ⭐️
Engineers John and Wass came to install the Broadband today and I have to say that from start to finish the professionalism of them both was superb! Due to the layout of the property it wasn't straight forward, but as a team they successfully installed the broadband and I can only say that whatever property these two go to next the customers will also be extremely happy!! Thanks again John and Wass 5******. Mark James
The engineer Dan was amazing and funny
Fantastic service and amelia sorted my problem out immediately.
The technical support were extremely helpful and talked me through getting my Internet back on.
Just signed up with Riz after simply putting my details in on an enquiry form. Took me 30 seconds. Rang me back the following day and made signing up so easy i couldnt actually believe it. Absolutely fantastic service from Riz, not a bad word to say about my experience with him and the company so far. In fact it was probably the easiest case of signing up for a service ive ever had. Amazing customer service.

Jun 21,2023This is my 2nd one star review as sadly the catalogue of issues from my first experience never seem to end with this company. The service is shocking, the internet goes off multiple times a day every day. I have the 300mbps service allegedly, and whilst it may be that to the router, what matters is the WiFi speed you actually get and that is abysmal. I wfh and my calls get constantly cut off, screen freezes, loses connection etc. After daily reports my issues finally got “escalated” to their technical team who after waiting days for a response fed back that there was no issue on their end and it must be my laptop camera! What a joke. I am losing business and having to work extra hours to try to make up for all of the time in my working day that the internet is off. I had a second router installed to try to overcome the connection issues (hasn’t worked) and whilst the man who came out seemed to do a good job, when looking at where the wires enter the house later it was clear that the rubber covers had not been sealed properly so rain can now get in. That was almost two weeks ago and I still haven’t had a response. If I had an alternative where I live I would leave in a heartbeat but at the moment I don’t. If you do, I would advise that go with them instead.
