Don't usually post reviews but I need to say this about 6Gi, and I feel addressing them directly won't make a difference. The idea behind it is great, a wireless internet, much like everything wireless today, providing an alternative for people who can't get or don't want to get traditional broadband. However the rolling out, and administration and application of attempted install has been a disaster. I signed up in October and am still awaiting having broadband in July. I applied and had an engineer visit my house in October 2022, who got on the roof to see if it is was possible to get broadband. Apparently it was, and was told install would be end of the month. October came and went, so beginning of November I called, and was told they were awaiting stock of modems and it would be soon. I was then called back a week later and was told modems wouldn't arrive now until the following February, and if I could wait until then they'd discount my subscription and increase my speed. . I agreed to delay until February, which came and went, so did some of March. I enquired but was told it was 'soon'. I was eventually called by customer services to book an engineer visit for April, which was attended by a friendly engineer but was then told there were cracked tiles (which wasn't picked up on the original visit) and they would need a cherry picker to install to prevent damage to our roof. Fair enough. 3rd visit was scheduled for May 12th, but when the cherry picker turned up it was too big to do the job (!). 4th attempt was with the right cherry picker, and incredibly it did get installed, but true to form it couldn't be activated as something on the transmitter wasn't switched on, and somebody would be in touch to book a revisit. I waited a week and half before I got in touch to reschedule another visit. Nobody contacted me. This 5th time, the booking was scheduled for between 12:30 and 4pm, and by 3:30 I still hadn't been visited, so called in to customer service. Despite the fact it was 3 hours after the engineer was due I was told that the engineer wouldn't be attending as was sick. To be fair there was a big apology, and that they should be phoning me to tell me, and Omar seemed genuine. Considering I've had 5 visits I requested a Saturday appt and he said that would be ok and he would be in touch within a couple of days with my Saturday appointment. That never happened. A week and half later I get another generic voicemail message from someone else asking to call 6g to book in my appointment. I've been more than patient, I've given 6gi every chance to install. Every visit has involved time off from work for either myself or my partner, and it seems every step forward is two steps back. I'm now sitting with an aerial bolted to the roof, a router sitting in my hallway, still no broadband and a distinct lack of faith in 6Gi. I feel let down, I've really tried working with 6Gi but last interaction was final straw. I still think wireless broadband is a viable alternative, but the administration and roll out by 6Gi lets it down. This is all genuine, and I'm happy for 6g to verify. UPDATE: So I sent an email with times I'm available with both work and private mobile numbers to the email address given, to discuss this in the hope of coming to a resolution. All I've received is generic voicemails asking to book in my broadband installation, none of which are at times I am nor I said I was available to talk, so my email has not been acknowledged. It genuinely is one step forward then two steps back. So frustrating

Just had a phone call by shakira was very professional great customer services skills and went through all the different speeds of broadband with me couldn’t recommend a better sales person tbh all the others I’ve had from different providers just talk pure crap highly recommended

Customer service was great from the beginning - staff very friendly, informative and helpful over the phone, along with very friendly and hardworking engineers who completed with install at my property. Regan and Abi installed for us and were fantastic. My property is located in a location where it isn't possible to get fibre to it and 6G have provided us with fantastic internet speeds (receiving 112MB currently) using their great system!
After 2 failed installations we have just had the best team come this morning and solve everything! Internet perfect, Jamie R and Jordan T worked tirelessly to get house running perfectly with 6G. Thanks for coming and resolving everything, massively appreciated!!!
Had this 4 or 5 months now and been pretty good up until this week. 6G have started to throttle my traffic in peak times to the extent i can't even play a youtube video in 4k without using a VPN. Edit: This has improved over the last few weeks and i can now watch YouTube/Netflix in 4k without a VPN.
The sales person fully understood what I require and talked me through the options very clear and positive. Didn't sell me the sale sold me the product. Yes good experience Tony

Jul 31,2023I haven't yet got internet set up with 6Ginternet. However, I have had a very positive experience with the company so far. Over the phone, I spoke to a man named Yousaf who was very helpful and informative. Looking forward to getting it all set up and will be updating review once all setup.
