Our daughter had Ash as a tutor for 2 years. The first was in person with a class the second year was online due to covid. She passed the Kent Test, the Bexley Selection and to our surprise she also scored well over the required standard to gain a place at Newstead Wood School. In the end she wanted a mixed school and she will start at Bexley Grammar this September. Ash's teaching was invaluable. Often when I would go through papers with her she would tell me that I was doing it the hard way and that Ash had shown them a much quicker technique. The mock papers Ash provided in the last few months made all the difference I think. The level of difficulty increased and the time available decreased progressively with each paper and I put a lot of our daughter's success down to these papers as the real test seemed easier than the tests she had practiced. I am very pleased to have had Ash teach our daughter and I hope that our son can study with him in a couple of years time.
My son sat the 11 plus exams in 2020 and attended Ace tuition prior to his exams for a year. We also registered him for independent school exams (Including Sevenoaks, Eton and Harrow). All I can say is if there was ever a tutor to motivate your child and make them believe in themselves it is Ash! It was a lot of hardwork - he does give ALOT of homework 😀 but it was well worth it!!! My son passed every single exam he sat with almost full points in his Kent 11 plus 421/423, which granted him a place in Dartford Grammar ( even though we are considered out of area ) With Ash’s advice we went down the prep school option (with scholarship) as Ash believed our son would do well in a school like Eton or Harrow. He has now received offers to both Eton and Harrow and we are having to make a choice Thanks Ash!
We are very thankful to Ash and his tutoring techniques. We got amazing offers from Sevenoaks School and Eltham college. Also got brilliant scores for Newstead Wood, Bexley and Kent grammar schools. Ash really knows what he is doing. 5 stars for Ash and Ace tutions. Thank you!
Ash gave clear and specific guidance to our kid for the 11 Plus exams. He helped us in prioritising areas to focus on and what and when should be practised during different steps of the process. His guidance was immensely useful and our kid cleared Independent schools like Westminster, KCS and SPS
My daughter had a wonderful journey with Ash in her preparation for 11+ Exams for state and independent schools… she has passed with flying colors for all the tests and was able to pick a school of her choice….. we got offer from City of London School for Girls..she also managed to get academic scholarships from Wimbledon High, Alleyns Dulwich and Eltham College
Ash's knowledge of 11+ exam formats and question styles is unparalleled. He follows a set of books in a sequence that gradually consolidates the fundamentals and prepares children thoroughly for the exams. His mock tests are very close to actual test especially Kent Test. Yes, he is strict and disciplined but this ensures that kids are focused during the sessions. My boy started Ace 11+ tuitions in the beginning of year 5 and thoroughly enjoyed his sessions. He has passed several Grammar school tests with high scores and have successfully received an offer from City of London Boys, our first choice. Thank you Ash!
Both my son and daughter attended Ash’s tuition. I have to say they wouldn’t have made it without Ash’s help. My daughter just got offer from CLSG and Sevenoaks, plus some top state schools. Highly recommended!
My daughter started Ace tuition in year 4 and it really helped her prepare for the 11+. Ash’s teaching is very engaging, giving his students great tips to ace the exam. He transitioned seamlessly to online tutions during lockdown and even extended the lessons when the exam got postponed. Neela had an amazing experience at Ace tuition and got into Tonbridge Grammar School with the help of Ace tutions. My only feedback be would that Ash can be slightly curt with his communication with parents. It would great if he can improve his style of communication but I believe that this is only a small downside to his incredible teaching. Thank you Ash for helping us pass our 11+.
Thanks for Ash guided us for 11+exam preparation all through. Very experienced tutor. My daughter got offer from our 1st school choice of NewsteadWood.
My son joined Ash at the beginning of year 5 and worked really hard to get what he wanted and with the help/advice of Ash he offered Judd. Thank you so much for all your help and support from the bottom of my heart 🙏
Thanks to Ash, our daughter was offered her first choice at Townley Grammar. She joined in Year 5 and from the get go, it was a 3 way collaborative effort between Ash, the parents and the child to get her ready for 11+. Even when lockdown happened, the transition to online classes was seamless and the quality of education was maintained. Ash expects discipline from both the child and the parents, so if you are considering ACE tuition, you will need to set your expectations right and make sure you and your child are prepared to put in the effort.
Through the entire 11 plus journey, we only had Ash as 11+ tutor. My daughter likes him. As a parent, Sincerely, I would say he is a very strict tutor. He organised the lesson very good and he knows the 11+ process very well. Now my daughter got into Henrietta Barnett School. Thanks to Ash again for all his help for my daughter during the 11+ journey.
My son Oliver has enjoyed very much Ash tutoring, he has tried before other tutors but highly recommends Ash. It was a lot of hard work to keep up with the demands from the tutoring but was all worth it. Thank you Ash for helping Oliver to succeed in his 11+! Fernando
Its 8th March , a week after National Allocation Day .Having recovered past the plethora of emotions from last week- thought of sharing this feedback for new parents and hope they find it useful . My son has got all the Grammar schools he had applied for (QE Boys, Latymer, Kent, Tiffin, Wilson, Sutton, Bexley and Olaves) - after working with Ash for over 18 months. Ashutosh, commonly known as Ash is an interesting personality, temperamental at times, plain-speaking and logical at most times. He is like a raging monsoon river - difficult to navigate initially, but once you get used to its direction of flow, it will work in your favour and you have a higher chance of success. Strengths Ash is very organised and takes the time to prepare for lessons. Every lesson is planned, structured and leads to the next level of learning. At times progress can be misleading (e.g. doing Bonds slowly) - but it’s the inculcated rigour like short-cut techniques, faster computation methods, higher productivity gains which help in a competitive environment. He has the structure for the entire year planned out and if the child can manage to weather it, he has a very strong change of success Ash leverages significant productivity gains from previous years papers and has mastered the art of specialized approach for individual schools as opposed to the spray-paint approach favoured by other tutors. This is a key differential as every single mark matter in competitive exams along with creating a ecosystem of high-performance students ! Weakness Ash’s pricing is slightly on the higher end of the market – but competitively priced compared to the top players in the market. Any price-conscious family would do well to budget for this and set aside around 4000 GBP for this journey. The pinch-point is his mock - exams which could impact a household budget for a few months toward the end. However, his fees are clearly spelt out upfront and there are no surprises. Ash's journey is a 3-way street - the Child the Child's parents and then ASH. The Child's parents must put in 100% at home to keep up to his pace, his standards, his (at times) whimsical demands. The parents must be prepared to invest time and not depend only on Ash. Parents being 'busy’ is no excuse nor just because the elder one has gone to Grammar - the younger one is automatically 'guaranteed' a place - they must go through the grind. One frequent comment I have heard about Ash is he does not 'teach' – and whilst this criticism has some merits , personally I think it’s fully not accurate. He does not go into every topic detail in details but certainly clarified any doubts I (as a parent) or my son has raised. His class is fast - paced and is productivity and out-come focussed - the results speak for themselves! Given he has a couple of hours one day / week and there are over 50 kids in it , the structure needs to be balanced and I have no complaints about it. Conclusion: There are other tutors in the market and they also have their strengths and success. What differentiates Ash is his regimental approach which ensures a strike rate of over 80 % and nothing succeeds like success. If you are ready to invest your time and effort and work with him, Ash is a good option to consider. Incidentally, he is not a tutor only but a valuable guide and a motivator too – attributes which would be needed when the going gets tough !
It was a wonderful and successful experience. The way Ash looks after his students is really worth of appreciation. The resources involved in his teaching - simply outstanding and he is immensely knowledgeable about 11 plus exam . His robust methodology helps to make every child smarter, wiser and more confident so that they can perform their best in the real exam .
Ash is an excellent teacher who knows how to get the best out of his students. He has a unique way of making sure the children stay focused through the entire 11plus journey. He is very motivating and knows exactly the strengths and weaknesses of each child. Great process, great material which you cannot find online and great mocks which he prepares diligently for each exam. On the back of his enormous help my son passed St Olave’s, Sutton, Wilson, QE Boys and top scored in Kent. Thank You Ash. You have been truly wonderful through this entire 11plus journey.
Ash is a fantastic 11 plus tutor. He really helped my daughter in all aspects and especially, his mock exams that fall before the real exam are very realistic and helped a lot. Even in the pandemic that we faced last September 2020 before the exams, he was still able to make it like a normal class and was very productive. Finally, when all his, my daughter's and my hard work paid off, she got selected for a seat at Newstead Wood Grammar School for Girls. I highly recommend Ace 11+ Tuition for anyone who is looking for an accurate but also outstanding improvement and guidance for their 11+ journey.
My son passed all the exams with amazing scores. Ash knows the 11+ process very well and many of his key points were very beneficial to my son & his results attest to that. One thing I like the most, Ash mock tests which were given two weeks before every exam & my son really improved his timing & focus. We recently accepted St Olave's as our first choice. Thanks to Ash for his support & guidance during 11+ journey.
Thank ACE tutoring. Really helped my daughter a lot, especially for the clear the guide and detailed tutoring. My daughter got offer from wilmington grammar shhool for girls. For me this is not come easily. My daughter only had Year 1 education in UK and then finished her Year 1 and 2 back to our home country, she jumped to Year 4 straight away after move back to UK two years ago. Meet ACE tuition after my friends recommend it to me. I thought just have a try, not really put any high hope on this. Yet, with a whole 1and 1/2year intense study, all the effort and sweat paid off. So oroud of my daughter now. Also wish ACE tuition a prosperous future and wish all parents come along in near future got what they are aiming for their child. Just want to add all the best and good luck. Remember, no hard work will be wasted. 😊😊😊
