Mar 03,2021We wanted our son to be in a competitive environment to give him the exposure to other like-minded students. This was great but when the pandemic hit, isolation and motivation became a challenge. Combined with the delays to exams, it was a very tough time for everyone. This is a challenging process for any student and the parents need to keep on top of this. Ash certainly can help with the regular cadence and work demands on the student. We recently accepted St Olave's as our first choice.

Mar 02,2021Our son joined ACE tuition in Year 5 and the tutor's approach worked very well for him. He undertook 3 grammar selection tests and excelled in each: top 180 in Bexley, high score in Kent that would secure any of the top school like Judd or Dartford, and most importantly very high score in St Olave's which was our first preference and which we've got just yesterday! So excellent news. We specifically appreciated at ACE tuition: a) the tutor's commitment, b) his knowhow of the potential exam content and unusual types of questions, and c) the cohort of students that were all high performers, which created a really motivating learning environment for all children. So thank you to Ash and I would definitely recommend ACE tuition to any parents/students that are not afraid of homework and systematical preparation.

Mar 02,2021We have used Ace Tuition for the second time now as we successfully got our first choice Bexley Grammar School for our son a few years ago. So we were happy to use him again and very glad we did. We like Ash’s methods 11+ structure techniques which is definitely work. He is also disciplined and very well organised teacher. My younger son also passed all his 11+ exams with the tutoring and support of Ash. Today we found out my younger son also got his first choice of grammar school. Such a relief . Mar 02,2021Ash has been a remarkable teacher, guide and motivator for my daughter. We are delighted to say our daughter passed every grammar exams she sat. She got selected in Newsteadwood, full marks in Kent, top 180 in Bexley. Well above cut off for CSSE, passed round 1 of Henrietta Barnet though in waiting list after second round as we are outside catchment. He has supported her at every corner with useful questions. She has been offered place in top private schools as well. In covid times he has kept her well motivated and focused. Thanks again Ash.

Mar 02,2021We have used Ace Tuition for the second time now as we successfully got our first choice St Olaves for our son a few years ago. So we were happy to use him again and very glad we did. My daughter is a different character but Ash handled her well and she passed all the 11 plus exams with flying colours and will be going Newstead Woods in September. Ash is very knowledgeable in 11 plus structures, techniques and question types. He focusses on what they need to know to pass and gives sound advice on how to answer questions quickly. He does regular assessments and you can see how your child is doing compared to others (anonymised!). Unfortunately due to the pandemic the mock tests were online so couldn't mimic the real test environment but it was still useful to get a feel for where any strengths and weaknesses lie. I have another child who will be starting the 11 plus journey next year and we will definitely use Ash again.

Mar 02,2021My son has got offer from Dartford Grammar today. We are truly over the moon. Although we have been to other tutors but it had to be with Ash in year 5 since it is the last year of preparation. We as parents worked hard as well as Ash as a tutor, not to mention the pupil's gruelling hard work. But it finally paid off. He is quite resourceful which is of utmost importance as tutor. Jan 06,2021Ash, is an excellent tutor. He was able to switch to online tutoring to ensure that the children didn't miss out on their learning. My son aced all his 11 plus exams (both grammar and independent), with the help of Ash. Ash was always on hand, providing additional support materials to help in his areas of weakness (books to read, YouTube links and tests packs that got him ready for the real exam.

Jan 04,2021Our Daughter made us and Ash really proud of her 11+ results. 12th ranked at Latymer, well above cut-off at Newstead, ranked in top 180 for Bexley exam, full marks in Maths and English at Kent, and also scored enough marks in Sutton exam for OOC seats. She joined Ash’s online classes when pandemic started, she thoroughly enjoyed the classes, outside of Ash’s weekly class she spent not more than an hour every day. We were not sure if this is enough for her to pass 11+ but Ash knows his students well and he assured us she will clear all the exams with good marks. He is strict and requires everyone (including parents) to follow his instructions, sometimes his Whatsapp messages to the group are very blunt and annoying but we learnt over the time that's because he is dealing with several parents and not everyone follows simple instructions which takes a lot of his time and patience. Ash: I would like to thank you again for your lessons, as I have mentioned earlier our daughter has very high regard for you. We knew that she was capable but with your support, she came out with flying colours in all exams and we all appreciate your support thought out. My feedback: try not to be too blunt in written communications. Group messages are good if it makes sense for everyone. If the messages are for selected few student/parents then don’t send it to everyone. Group message may save time for you but I feel its implications are not great.

Jan 03,2021We are very pleased with tuition services from Ash. Our son attended the classes for 1.5 years prior to 11+ tests and has definitely made progress in the core subjects. He passed all 3 11+ tests taken which exceeded our expectation. Moreover he found the classes an enjoyable experience and now, when the tuition is finished, he says Ash's Sunday classes were back on.

Jan 03,2021I have to say Ash is the best tutor I have ever met (and I have met many!) As a parent I prefer a more responsible tutor and Ash is that one. He is not only full of knowledge and teaching experience but also he is a disciplined teacher. It means that he really cares about the students. He actually cares if students really learn something or not. He seriously cares about students only sitting there for 2 hours lesson and doing nothing. I love tutor like this.

Can't recommend ACE or Ash highly enough, thank you very much. Also, take a look at the results ACE students achieve each year, guiding numerous students into the top grammar and independant schools across Kent and London. As Ash always says it is a combintion of the pupils, parents and tutors efforts, and the role each one plays that guarantees succcess at 11+. Both my kids loved the tutoring environment provided by Ash.

Mar 03,2021Once again i would like to tkank Ace 11+ tuitionfor the support he gave to our daughter. She started online tuition in year 5 around May period,She litterally prepare 11+ in 5 months and this because of Ash. He made her work really hard, the feedback with parents and the extra homework boosted her. She had very high mark for Medway and kent tests, so catchement area was not apply to her. Although we live in London, we were given our 2nd choice which is Maidstone grammar school for girls. I will strongly recommend Ace 11+tuition to all parents who want their kids to achieve a high mark for 11+ tedt.
