Dec 18,2020Outstanding support and teaching. Our son has really enjoyed the classes and has been filled with confidence with the new skills he has picked up and by those that have been reinforced. Result: achieved top score in Kent, He passed QE, Sutton stage 1&2 and St.Olaves stage 1 and now preparing for stage 2.

It’s been a challenging environment this year and I was worried about class size but Ash had managed to maintain excellent results across board for all exams that my son wrote. He passed QEB, Kent, St Olave’s stage 1 and preparing for stage 2 now. I have and still highly recommend.

Dec 18,2020Ash was recommended to us by a friend but seeing the class size I was a bit apprehensive. The results though were telling a different story so we decided to give it a go. And after a year (or more) I am so glad we did. Ash is one of the finest tutors out there and supported the kids as well as the parents on this 11 plus journey, which was even more stressful in these uncertain Covid times. Our son smashed Kent, Bexley, QE and Sutton and hopefully will do well in Olaves Stage 2 so this in itself speaks for the quality of teaching and support. I would recommend ACE tution to anyone serious about 11 plus without any hesitation.

Dec 18,2020Our boy started online tuition with Ash in Year 5. Within a year he became confident. Result: for Kent test, he did really well, He passed QE, Sutton, Bexley and St.Olaves 1st stage, and now preparing 2nd stage exam. The class: It is a big class size but it make my boy felt that he was not alone but with his friend on the journey. This is motivate him to keep studying. Mock test is good as shows the weakness and what level he is. Thanks for helping my boy on this tough journey. I will book my daughter in when her year is coming.

Ash mock exams were very good and his last minute tips were very helpful. I would definitely recommend Ash to all looking to get into Grammar schools.

Dec 12,2020We opted for Ash tuition for my son's 11+ preparation in 2019 and we never regret about the choice we made. Ash is one of the best tutor in south east London. Ash commitment to his students is remarkable in 11+ journey. Ash got all the key ingredients to deliver the best outcome from each individual students. To be successful in 11+, not just having a best tutor is enough, the other side of the coin is also pivotal. It is a collaborative effort from student, tutor and parents to get a desired outcome. Ash communicates very well with parents on topics covered in each class and what are expected from parents and students on following week. 2020 has been challenging times, Ash quick adaptability to change to an online environment within a week is commendable. Classes were delivered online without impacting quality or difficulty in learning experience to my son. His mock exams are well focused and a benchmark results among peer students helps us to understand where my son need focus and attention. During initial engagement with ACE tuition, one may feel Ash is not accessible to parents. This is not a worrying factor rather beneficial to bring in structure in place. Ash spends good amount of time with parents and provides tips and go beyond your expectation. We would personally recommend his classes for 11+ and to implant time management and discipline within your child as they are required when they get on to secondary and further. My son enjoyed his classes and made some good friends. My son has comfortably qualified for Dartford Grammar, Bexley, St Olaves Stage-2 and QE. Few words from my son: " Ash teaches with fun and with more understandable examples for harder questions. This helps as it becomes much easier to grasp difficult concepts"

Update from my previous review: We just received our son's Kent Exam results 411/423 and Bexley also a remarkable result just short of the top 180 and he's managed to pass stage 1 for Olaves. Ash has been excellent throughout and gives additional time and support to parents when needed over the phone but he expects the same commitment from the parents who are the key driving force. My son has enjoyed the lessons since year 4 and has made incredible progress and more importantly will listen to Ash (when he might not listen to us!) My son is a bit sad that next week will be the last session. My daughter has also been enrolled since the beginning of year 4 and enjoys the lessons and structure. I would recommend Ash to anyone who knows their child has an aptitude for learning and is committed to put the work in at home as well as during lessons! Thank you Ash for everything, here's to the next two years!

He has always gone above and beyond expectations, has a very good understanding of kids and their difficulties with learning, and has dealt with all concerns brilliantly.The sessions are well planned out and are very informative and helpful.He has helped and supported massively with preparation for my son's eleven plus exams and my son has cleared the selection process at most of the grammar schools.Big massive thanks to him and Thoroughly recommend Ash!!!

Dec 10,2020The professionalism and strictness that is required for being a part of a super-selective grammar school is well practiced and followed in this tuition and the tutor prepares the children for the level expected. It’s not only the tutor, parents and children have to follow the pattern too. Getting into a super-selective is not a joke and hence a combined effort is necessary rather leaving everything on the tutor only and not follow his instructions strictly after the classroom. Just passing an exam is less important than getting into that habit and pattern expected is what I experienced as the best outcome of my hard money spent on this tuition. It’s my personal opinion as experienced throughout last one year. This is the only tutor who takes personal care and attention on each child in the class evenif it is not a 1-1 coaching. At the beginning, I was not sure about the group coaching but overtime I saw the improvement and individual attention that he put on each child. I was pretty pleased and convinced about an expected result. As I followed his time-to-time advice and guidance, I managed to get my expected result. It’s the best coaching in town in my view. Thanks Ace tuition and many thanks for the individual attention you put together.

Dec 05,2020What touched me the most was Ash’s confidence in my child even when initial results were disappointing! This was a stressful period and his confidence was reassuring. Plus, he was right! My daughter was not one of the top students, but comfortably passed multiple exams due to the level of preparation in the coaching. Make no mistake, Ash’s course is quite demanding of both students and parents but the results are worth it. He is also there to guide you through the process, long after all fees have been paid. He was there to help us find the best outcome for our child, leveraging his vast experience.

Dec 05,2020My daughter joined Ash's class in year 5 after recommendation by a friend whose twin daughters joined Newstead Wood earlier that year after attending Ace tutions. My daughter really liked the way Ash can make topics enjoyable. As soon as Pandemic started, Ash was able to switch to online classes within a week. Quality of teaching was never compromised. According to my daughter, she found mock tests very helpful as they were very close in format and quality to actual exams. Even in the difficult year, she ended up getting top marks in NW, Kent, Latymer and Bexley. I can definitely recommend Ace tution to all prospective parents and students. March Update: My daughter got her first choice Newstead Wood on national allocation day and she also got scholarship at Eltham College. Thanks again to Ash for all the guidance and support.

Dec 05,2020Ash's 11+ tuition provided a good platform for my child to improve her knowledge and performance to pass the grammar school tests. The online classes were structured and my child enjoyed interacting with a number of friends. Ash also provided useful mock tests that were closely aligned to the exam. These were invaluable in identifying areas of improvement. One of the benefits of larger class sizes is that it allows you to compare your child's performance against other children giving you a benchmark of what to expect in the real exam. Ash had a fair idea of the key areas that are tested and helps both students and parents focus on these. Overall, my child enjoyed attending the classes, making friends and learning at the same time.

Dec 04,2020DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME!!! Be careful of the reviews here!!! Read them carefully you can spot the fake reviews OR the fake reviews left by family and friends. The reason I say this, is some of the names here I have also seen in Facebook & Google groups. Ash is extremely arrogant, he is only interested in the money and does not care about the child’s performance whatsoever. I’ve been told the classes are overcrowded and according to others he ONLY takes high performing children (which makes me question how much of the success is down to his tuition) He was unwilling to speak to me or address my concerns and had the audacity to say it is because I had not paid first. I was shocked and appalled by his service, never have I been forced to pay for anything without fully understanding what I will receive from the service and if I’m happy with the offering. What he fails to understand, a lot of parents move in the same circles. I have heard many negative reviews about him especially about his rudeness to potential customers. Sorry I do not recommend him and I feel it’s unfair that others leave fake reviews to support their friend when they know it’s someone else’s childs education on the line. A good 11+ tutor works with the parents. He is not a good tutor - he told one lady not to bother her son will not pass and he will not take him on...however the boy did pass!!! Obviously Ash is good at spotting the easy targets...the high performers that will pass with hardly any effort from Ace Tuition.
