Dec 31,2020My friends recommended Ash Ace tuition to us. My son loves his teaching methods and enjoys his lessons. He has helped our son immensely by teaching concepts and also preparing him for exams. One important point is you need to have full faith in Ash and work with him as per his methods. My son scored top marks (not just passing) in QE, Kent, Bexley(top 180) and St. Olave's. We accepted St. Olave's which was our top choice!

Dec 24,2020We came to Ace Tuition at the start of the pandemic in March as we had been let down by my daughter’s 11 plus tutor. I came across Ash due to the reputation of his tuition centre in the area. He had quickly transitioned from face to face lessons to online lessons. My daughter couldn’t praise the lessons enough - he was interactive and kept the lessons interesting. Ash has so much knowledge about the 11 plus process and helped my daughter excel in her exams. We are hopeful she will get her first choice school.

Dec 21,2020Ash is a very experienced tutor who is well organised and keen on getting the pupils to maximise their potential. His lessons are targeted and focused at meeting the needs for each school and my children thoroughly enjoyed his lessons. He created time to give some specific feedback when I required this and I certainly found this useful. I will recommend Ash for pupils aiming for super-selective schools and need the extra push to be the best they can be.

Dec 20,2020This is our second experience with Ash with our eldest joining St Olaves in Sept 2019. He cleared all exams with flying colours with top scores in about 8 grammar entrances. We reached out to Ash for our younger son without any doubt and it is once again proved that Ash is an excellent 11+ tutor. Our younger one made it with a good score in Kent, Wilson’s and Stage 1 Olaves. Both my sons enjoyed his tuition and have benefitted from his smart approach to these exams. He prepares the boys well and gives them confidence to do the exams with ease. I cannot recommend Ash enough for your child’s 11+ success. And guess this cannot be ignored as I have not one but two almost consecutive successes !! Many thanks Ash for all your support and guidance !

Ever since my son has attended his tuition his attitude towards 11+ has changed for the better. If you want to learn any techniques to pass the exam then I highly recommend his tuition.

Dec 19,2020We started with Ash after trying a few providers without achieving what we set out for. My son likes a bit of challenge hence why we decided on a group tuition. He is very independent and was doing fairly well before joining the tuition so the teaching method suited him just fine. My son enjoyed Ash's lessons and has a lot of respect for him. We preferred when the lessons were face to face, though with the current state of the world, online lessons have probably come to stay. Ash adapted his lessons to fit and it seemed to have worked well for my son as he has passed all the exams he has written so far. Ash knows the 11+ process very well and his results attest to that. The process is not a walk in the park and requires total dedication and a lot of hard work from both the child and the parents and Ash is very strict with the children and parents alike. I will and have recommended Ash to other parents with the caveat that it is a group session and expectations will need to be managed with a focus on the end goal.

Dec 19,2020Ash and Ace Tuition was recommended by an external colleague of mine. In my view, Ash knows his field and is good at preparing the boys and girls for the 11 plus exams. He is probably stricter than your average primary school teachers, but we are fine with disciplines. My boy has been with him for over a year now, there is clear evidence that he has grown more confident academically since joining Ash’s tuition. 11 plus is not an easy journey, while it may not be the right thing for every single child, I am glad I and my son have given a go and chosen Ace Tuition.

Dec 18,2020Ash is a very smart tutor and his technics will benefit greatly your child for problem solving and speed. Ash tuition is not a one to one tuition so you should also set your expectations right and expect to be heavily involved in that process in order for that to be successful. We have been with Ash for 2 years and the end results have been beyond our expectations. Have to say that we were well below average when we started the process but ended up surprisingly well thanks to efforts from both sides. You can see that when your child reaches a point where his problem solving is faster than yours. But you have to be very patient and not give up. Usually your child will start performing very well by the time Ash start releasing his mock exams which are paramount to the preparation of the real exams. You should not ignore these and take advantage of them as much as possible. Areas of improvements i would say is communication it is a bit difficult to get hold of Ash at certain period probably due to different factors one being he is the only contact for everyone so again you need to be patient. Also i wish him to have some additional assistance on this area especially if he keeps increasing his classes in the future. He will find it much easier to manage. Overall for the results and budget i don’t think you will find better tuition in the area. You can also check the excellent benchmarks results on his website year on year they get better.

If you are looking for a tutor who is experienced with Grammar and independent school exams, look no further than Ace Tuition. My son achieved top marks in his Kent 11plus and has passed all other grammar school and independent school exams written so far.
