Apr 25,2024I cannot fault Ace the Himalaya, they are professional, well organised company with wonderful staff to prepare us for the best trek. Our guide Raj and Porter Bishal were nothing but amazing. They both went the extra mile and always had our safety first. Raj has a great knowledge of the area, walking in altitude and adequate medical knowledge that we felt reassured and supported. Raj has a happy, warm, friendly personality and nothing is ever a problem. He even practiced some healing modalities and meditations on us that were well receive. Bishal was a sweet kind caring young man who always had our best interests and safety first. He would prepare artistically cut apple slices to have after our evening meal every night. We were always very grateful of this gesture. Truely both Raj and Bishal made our trip all the more enjoyable and relaxed knowing they had our best interests at heart, thank you to both and to Ace the Himalaya. A trip never to forget. Jill Sagar

Apr 23,2024An experience of a lifetime! Our journey to Everest Base Camp with our @Acethehimalaya guides ( Pasang, Rajendra, Sunny and sere) was nothing short of extraordinary. From the moment we met, their professionalism and expertise were evident. They navigated the challenging terrain with ease, ensuring our safety every step of the way. Their knowledge of the region, its history, and culture added depth to our adventure, making it not just a physical journey but a cultural immersion as well. They were attentive to our needs, always checking in to make sure we were comfortable and acclimatizing properly. Moreover, their passion for the mountains was infectious, and it fueled our own sense of awe and wonder throughout the trek. They went above and beyond to make sure we had the best possible experience, from arranging cozy tea house accommodations to recommending the most breathtaking viewpoints. Thanks to our guide, we not only reached Everest Base Camp but also created memories that will last a lifetime. We couldn't have asked for a better companion on this epic journey. Highly recommend! Apr 22,2024Great lead guides - Pasang and Rajendra Assistant leads Sunny and sere Pasang and Rajendra have outstanding knowledge of the Everest base camp trek. Both Sunny and Sere were exceptional in ensuring all are served foods drinks and even carry bags if some of us went sick . I was quite sick and Pasang Rajendra Sunny did outstanding work to help me !

Apr 22,2024Just great... We did the circuit arround the Annapurna with a Group of four people. The trip was booked via "Himalaya Tours Switzerland" and operated by "Ace the Himalaya". It was a great experience, our guide Shyam and his team did a really great job! They were always happy and helped us with everything. The choice of the lodges was always good and much better than expected. Also the food in the chosen lodges was really good. The highlight was of course the "Thorong La Pass" with the impressive altitude of 5416m above sea level! We were so lucky to have always good weather until we reached our daily lodge. So we had the chance to see all the beautiful landscape and mountains. I would definitely recommend this trip because it has a great range of trekking and tradition. Thanks to the team (Shyam, Nima and Suke) for everything and all the best!

Once on trek the experience was made life changing by my guide and porter,Shyam and Nima. 2 amazing human beings who are also blessed with great knowledge and an amazing caring nature. Apr 12,2024I researched a lot of tour companies that did this particular Gokyo-EBC trek before landing on Ace the Himalaya. The information they provide on their website is very clear, comprehensive and easy to navigate. But importantly, they team was super-responsive to my initial, and later, final planning inquiries. They were also pro-active in letting us know about important information we'd need such as travel insurance, completing the online visa form, etc. It was a very seamless experience with the pickup / drop-offs and everything was taken care off at the hotel/s we stayed in at Kathmandu. Both our trek guide (Kumar) and porter (Ratna) were just incredible. While we started as a group of 12 tourists and 4 guides, my friend and I split up with the rest after Namche Bazaar to pursue the Gokyo - Cho La Pass - EBC route. Kumar and Ratna were with us the entire time, super-responsive to any requests or concerns we had, and did everything they could to make our trek comfortable and safe. When we went up Gokyo-Ri, Kumar suggested that i keep it light, and so offered to carry my (relatively heavier) camera along with the first aid kit as we ascended to the summit. Ratna did the same for me on the trek to EBC. Kumar set a good, comfortable pace for us the entire journey, making sure we stopped frequently to rest, even if we felt we could keep going for a little longer. At the tea houses, both he and Ratna made sure we were taken care of before they took a break for a meal and rest. They also arranged for extra pillows / blankets whenever we needed them. When i fell ill with an infection at Gorakshep, Ratna accompanied my friend up to Kala Patthar while Kumar attended to me. Working with their office, they also quickly arranged for a helicopter ride from Gorakshep to Lukla where i could see a doctor. The Ace team then quickly arranged for a heli ride back to Kathmandu from Lukla. On Friday morning we were in Gorakshep, and by Friday evening, we were back in Kathmandu! We thoroughly enjoyed our trekking experience with Ace the Himalaya, and if we plan any future trip to the region, we will definitely call on them again. The certificate and scarf were a nice touch at the end, along with the celebration dinner with the team.

Apr 09,2024A few days ago we returned home from our EBC trekking tour. We are still very impressed by the great experience. And above all, how smoothly everything went. From the first briefing to dinner after the trekking tour, we were in good hands at "Ace the Himalaya". We have already traveled with guides in many countries - for example in the USA, Kenya, Tanzania, Bali etc. But we have to say: Kishore Neupane (aka Krish) has been the best of them all so far! He took care of everything from the first cup of tea in the morning to the last charged power bank in the evening, he had an answer to every (!) question and got us safely to the EBC and to Kalla Pattar the next day. So if you want to start the long journey to the EBC now: with Krish you are in the best hands!

Apr 07,2024The trip to EBC was amazing! The whole experience from Kathmandu, the cultural sites, the scenery, mountains and of course the actual base camp day were incredible. There were times that were difficult and cold, but it was well worth it to be able to see this wonderful part of the world. Raj, our guide, was fantastic. He was always there when you needed him, he always made sure that we had good food and drink, he would sometimes carry packs to help people up the climbs, and he shared his extensive knowledge of the area. Raj learned that it was my 60th birthday during the trek and arranged a cake and surprise celebration at the teahouse in Lobuche! He always went above and beyond expectations to make sure that we all had a great experience. The porters also were very attentive and helpful. Ace the Himalaya was fantastic. The coordination was seamless from airport pick up to drop off at the end. They made changes on the fly to create the experience that we wanted. I cannot more highly recommend them for Nepal trekking and travel.

I highly recommend Ace the Himalayas to anyone who chooses to trek the Himalayan Mountains. The views were awe inspiring throughout the journey. Great photo opportunities proved to be innumerable. Not only were they both super friendly, kind & fun to hang out with but we also learned so much from them about the area & Nepali culture. Sunil Ghale took such great care of us - always making sure we were prepared, getting what we needed & making sure that we were being safe in terms of altitude. He’s such a fun person to hang out with & after this trek we consider him a friend! 100% recommendations requesting him for your trek!! Arjun Lama always has a smile on his face despite carrying over 30kg of our things on the same intense 14 day trek that we did with light day bags! He’s super friendly & knowledgeable about the area & we had a great time spending time with him & learning from him! 100% recommend requesting him for your trip - as a soon to be guide!

Apr 03,2024My wife and I had high expectations for the Everest Base Camp Trek - 14 Day trip and thanks to our guide, Sunil Ghale, and our porter, Arjun Lama, it exceeded our expectations. My wife and I travel quite a bit and take many tours, we research companies thoroughly as well. Ace the Himalayas (ACE) and specifically Sunil and Arjun could not have made this trip more perfect. Sunil shared so much history with us and ensured we were safe and well taken care of while Arjun somehow always beat us to our location where we were staying for the night to ensure we had our luggage available to us. It was one of the hardest mental and physical challenges we’ve ever had, but it was worth every second. We can’t recommend ACE and Sunil and Arjun enough!

Nimesh Nepal, our guide extraordinaire, deserves special commendation. His deep knowledge of the region, its people, and the terrain, coupled with his passion for the mountains, made every step of the trek a delightful adventure. Nimesh's guidance was not just about navigating the trails but also about immersing ourselves in the rich culture and history of the region. His stories and insights added a layer of depth to my experience that I will cherish forever. Ace also provided an incredible team of porters – Birkaji, Padam, and Bigyan. Their strength, speed, and unwavering smiles were the backbone of our journey. Despite the challenging terrain, they carried our belongings with grace and ease, ensuring that we could focus solely on soaking in the magnificence of the Himalayas. The attention to detail and commitment to customer satisfaction demonstrated by Ace the Himalaya is truly excellent. Ace had excellent, detailed information on their website (including a superb packing list), and was direct and clear with communications from the start. On the trail, from the comfortable teahouse accommodations to the delicious meals prepared along the way, every aspect of the trek was meticulously planned and executed. Standing at Everest Base Camp, surrounded by towering peaks and fluttering prayer flags, I felt a profound sense of accomplishment and gratitude. Thanks to the exceptional team at Ace the Himalaya, this dream of a lifetime became a reality. Mar 31,2024The EPC Trek was a life changing experience for me and I’m so grateful I did it with Pasang as my guide. He was friendly, caring, funny and supportive throughout the whole time and really made the group come together as a whole. He was incredibly patient with every person in the group, taught us a lot about the local culture and was there if you needed anything! I couldn’t have asked for a better guide. I’m super grateful for our amazing support guide Sauman who had such a great energy and enthusiasm and was just as supportive! And of course our amazing porters who trekked with us the whole way: Gopal, Gombu and Dipak! They were the best and made the trek such a unique and special experience.

Mar 29,2024Ace is a very professionally run trekking company. Like any good company it's greatest asset is its employees. The booking process and communication while planning the trip was excellent. Once we arrived in Katmandu the employees were very friendly and a joy to work with. The trek to Gokyo was fantastic and made all the easier by the support staff. Our porters Sukre and Hira took our bags in the morning with a smile and a greeting and the bags were at our accomodation every evening. Milan, our guide and Santosh, assistant guide were fantastic. Milan was informative of the route and history and told us interesting facts and stories. They both anticipated our every need and accommodated the different paces within our group. When the hike was over it felt like we were leaving family. I cannot thank them enough for making our trip so memorable.

Mar 22,2024Our recent trek to Everest Base Camp via Gokyo with Ace the Himalaya was nothing short of extraordinary. From start to finish, they demonstrated exceptional professionalism and expertise. Our guide, Pasang, was a great support. His knowledge of the terrain and unwavering commitment to our safety made every step of the journey feel secure. As a Sherpa, Pasang's insights into the region's culture and surrounding mountains added depth to the experience, making it more enriching. I'm also grateful to our porters, Gopal and Jivan, whose strength and cheerful support were invaluable throughout the trek. They went out of their way to ensure the trek was a success for us and even went as far as carrying our day packs on the more challenging days. The 14-day trek (17 days total) was well-planned. Although accommodations were basic, they exceeded expectations (considering where we were). The scenery, especially from Gokyo Ri and Kala Patthar, was breathtaking, while challenges like Cho La Pass added excitement. Although it's more challenging, I would highly recommend the Gokyo to EBC trek for better views and for travelling off the beaten path. Ace the Himalaya's organisation and communication were excellent, ensuring a seamless experience from start to finish. Overall, I give Ace the Himalaya, our guide (Pasang) and Porters (Gopal and Jivan) a perfect 10/10 and highly recommend them for anyone seeking an unforgettable Himalayan adventure. Mar 12,2024The experience with Ace the Himalayas was really good. All the arrangements for stay were comfortable including freshly prepared food at every place. I did not make it to EBC due to altitude sickness but I was supported throughout by Ace team until my return to Lukla while rest of the team went ahead. I never felt unsafe even though I was on my own with porters for two days.. They were very helpful . Madan is a very sincere and knowledgeable guide who encouraged me a lot and at the same time suggested me to descend when he thought I would suffer more if I continued. I trusted his expertise and safely returned to Lukla . I would definitely recommend Ace the Himalayas team .
