Wish I had checked the reviews before purchasing as I have not received my item and been given several different excuses as to why. I am now going through the channels for a refund but reading other reviews I am not holding out much hope. AVOID THIS COMPANY!!!

The pandemic has brought the best out in many people, companies and services. Unfortunately this company has sought to milk it for financial benefit. They take orders for items they do not have, hiding onerous terms and conditions in the small print. Unfortunately my order was never fulfilled and whilst I was advised to cancel for a refund that refund has never been received despite many promises (their customer services team respond with what turn out to be hallow promises, I expect as delaying tactics). I have now been waiting over 21 days which is their limit ( I would suggest no refunds are ever received in less than this time) and have had to fall back on disputing the transaction through my credit card company. Whilst this is probably not a scam company, their operating model is certainly unethical. I would seriously advise against using Appliance Group. They have had my money for 6 weeks and the amount was equal to a months salary which has caused a lot of problems. Please be warned. Update 29 July: Refund at last received.

Would put zero stars but not an option ordered a freezer months ago and surprisingly not here 🤔 are they really trying to rip the crap out of people pandemic this and pandemic that excuse wearing very very thin.

After ordering in June I was emailed to say my delivery will arrive on the 8th July so I waited in, for it not to arrive. I rang on the 9th and they did not know where my item was. I then asked for a refund and sent in the relevant email. This was ignored. On the 21st I rang to find out when I will be refunded. They said my email 'fell through the cracks' and is yet to be processed. They have then tried to send me a washing machine regardless of my insistence of a refund and the fact I have purchased another from a better company. Incompetent company, I have had to contact the bank to enforce my refund. They will just try and stall for time and keep monies spent. Please avoid.

It’s has been hell to buy from them. I have purchased a freezer from March and J have to fill in cancellation form twice and it is 14 of July and I still have not h go got my refund!

A warning to everyone do not use this company . I ordered a freezer for my elderly in-laws on the 18th June I'm still waiting, all they ever say is 5 to 14 days even if you want a refund its the same time . They are an absolute joke of a company, I only gave them 1 star because that's the lowest it should be minus 5 stars.

placed an order with them on the 15th June, 2021 for an American style fridge freezer. I received an order confirmation and details in the email said that dispatch is "10-14 working days". Over 21 business days later and no confirmation as when, if at all, the fridge freezer is being delivered despite payment off my card from the order date. I called maybe 6-7 times to chase and each time I was told "we are looking into it". On top of that- order cancellations are stated to take "10-14 business days, upto 21 business days in busy periods" to process- this is completely absurd given how long they could in effect sit on my money until the refund is processed which added up to well over 45 days!! I never do reviews but the shocking lack of communication, as well as seemingly being very relaxed at losing a £1,800 sale and poor customer service meant that I felt I had a duty to post a review. Avoid them at all costs as there are more reliable suppliers out there.

0 Score! Scam company! They keep saying they will deliver in the next 10-14 days but they don't. Also if you contact them for example after 5 days the days for the delivery do not decrease, they again say 10-14 days. Is seems they have some draft email that they just copy paste and have you waiting forever so they can collect money from the customers! DO NOT ORDER FROM THEM!!! HORRIBLE!

Don’t bother, they will give you a 10-14 working day delivery estimate (delivery is charged) and then radio silence. Contacted them a month after ordering only to be told to wait another 10-14 days. Protests fall on deaf ears and their customer handling is shocking - they are clearly not bothered at all about customer care. Refunds take, you guessed it, 10-14 working days. Horrendous bunch, avoid like the plague.

Absolutely shocking company. Sold me an appliance at the beginning of June as being ‘in stock’ later got an email telling me it wasn’t in stock and would be 6+ weeks for delivery. I immediately requested a refund to be able to go and purchase elsewhere, I was told it would take 10-14 working days. 14 working days later still no refund. Chased again at that point was told up to 21 workings days for refund. 21 days and still no refund, more chasing and phone calls to eventually be refunded 25 working days after cancellation for something they never had in the first place. Absolutely disgusting service, looked on trust pilot after I’d purchased and this seems their general practice and level of service. Don’t trust the reviews on their website either, they only show the 5* good ones - my bad review hasn’t been posted.

They will say they aren’t a scam company and blame the pandemic and brexit. All lies they are a scam and they’ve no intention of giving you your order as it doesn’t exist.

Absolute shambles of a company. Disgusting service and lies after lies also staff is terrible just don't care. Nightmare to get refund, still waiting...... FCA Trading standards informed. Avoid!

This company is not trust worthy i would not order from them. It seems they make you wait only to not even inform you of a delay. Trying to get a refund and I still have no confirmation of such refund. Appalling, lying company. I think this may be a fake site.

I ordered a chest freezer at the beginning of April. I’d been waiting for 2 and half months received nothing. The main excuse used was due to Covid we are not delivering at present, then we will deliver on such a date and so on. So, I’ve decided that I had enough and asked for a full refund. Refund policy states 10-14 days ( not including weekend) and if busy could take up to 21 days. This is ridiculous, most companies will refund your money in 10 days or so. So, let’s see what happens but I am very disappointment with their customer service!!!

Disgusted by this firm & I've been left in tears. Not only do I not get the washing machine I ordered 2 months ago, I had to ring up to find out they now don't have my washing machine on stock after ordering it on my 22nd may. I now have to wait 21 days for my refund, disgusting!! I don't have much hope on getting it either !! Never ever use this company. Also the staff are terrible!!!

Absolute shambles of a company. Clearly lie on what they have in stock to take your money. Receiving an email the day before your delivery date after waiting a month, that we will have to wait another 4 weeks. The customer care is shocking, money grabbing c**ts

I have given one star because minus five isn't an option! My right to reject an item and be refunded was a nightmare. I had to claim charge back through the bank.

Wish I had checked the reviews before ordering. I desperately needed a new cooker, as mine is longer working and I am struggling to cook. They had decent prices and I placed an order on the 9th June. I received a confirmation email stating that delivery will be within 10-14 working days. After 14 days I phoned the company to enquire about delivery and they stated that this product wasn’t in stock and it will take a further 4 WEEKS. They didn’t even bother to notify me of this at all, until I phoned them after 14 days, and I’m already stranded, unable to cook. I cancelled the order immediately because I need a new cooker and it’s now urgent. It’s been 9 days since I cancelled the order and I still haven’t received a refund so I can’t even purchase a new one. I have children and being without a cooker is astonishingly crippling. This company have made the situation worse and if I used common sense and checked the reviews earlier, I could have ordered from a different supplier and would actually be able to cook right now! I understand that there are supply issues and delays, which probably cannot be helped in the current climate but this wasn’t made clear at all. They must express this very clearly instead of messing customers around. Edit: I did eventually get through on the phone and expressed the urgency of my refund and the staff member I spoke to was kind and sympathetic and said that she would email another member and express the urgency of the situation. I will update when I receive a refund.

shocking. wish I had read reviews before dealing with this company. Purchased chest freezer May 2021 -have emailed twice (no replies) phoned 3 times and was fobbed off with 'problems with despatch'. Now over 6 weeks later I have cancelled order, only to be told refund may take up to a further 3 weeks!!

Avoid this company at all costs. We ordered and paid for a chest freezer April 24, they claimed it would be in stock for delivery early May. May 7, I am calling for an update. promised they would have it in stock in two days, THREE days later, they still promised delivery, except by May 17, May 19 they claimed all back orders had been allocated, but still wouldn't confirm delivery date ? Requested to cancel the order, promised refund 3- 5 days. After several calls and emails they continued to ignore. We eventually got the full refund THREE months after it had been ordered and paid for. Shocking doesn't come close!! Then, they give me an attempt for an apology, stating the Brexit / stock caused shortages. The complaint wasn’t about stock delays . The issue was the appalling delay in responding to emails and my refund. Nothing to do with brexit / Covid.
