Feb 07,2025Bought a Rangemaster Induction hob from them, which was professionally installed by an electrician. The hob broke within 20 days, which while no fault of Appliances Direct, there returns policy could be a lot better & simpler. Despite the item only lasting 20 days, we were not able to return the item easily and have had to use the external warranty company to try and get our money back. The Warranty company are slow to respond and we have been waiting for a reply now for 5 days. Appliance direct say we canāt return the product without an āuplift numberā from the warranty company which they wonāt provide. Other retailers have a 30 or sometimes 100 day return policy so will be using them instead in the future.

Feb 07,2025Avoid this company I bought a dishwasher in July last year which broke within a few weeks. I tried to exercise my warranty but the company claimed it was invalid because it was in part of my house which I use for AirBnb. Ok, that's annoying but not as annoying as what happened next. In December the company emailed me to tell me it was going to reimburse me. Great! They've found their conscience, I thought. They were also going to come and collect the faulty dishwasher. Well, it's lucky I still had it and hadn't thrown it out. I agreed they could come and collect it but only after I'd actually been reimbursed. What followed was a series of aggressive calls and emails demanding I agree a time for them to come and collect the dishwasher and telling me that I had been reimbursed. It's now February. I still haven't been reimbursed and they are still pestering me. Please stop.

Feb 07,2025I bought electriQ 244 Litre 60/40 fridge freezer may last year the door seals have all split Iām 74 and have been told they arenāt under the warranty as they could be replaced I never received a written warranty and nowhere on your sales can I see that stated .I asked if you supplied spares they said to look on the internet ! An impossible task for a lay man ! The fridge freezer now isnāt working correctly as door seals gone after just over 6months . Itās Ā£100 call out in my area im at my wits end I had a smeg previous for over 20years what a difference not one problem in that time ! just spoke to someone else beware you arenāt given a written warranty says itās standard that all consumable parts in appliances only guaranteed for 60 days UPDATE after I put this review on trust pilot I received a phone call this morning offering me Ā£40 yes Ā£4O as a good will gesture if anyone out there can get me the fridge and door seals for this item from anywhere near that price Iād appreciate their help ! There are three things I will say about this firm my delivery and delivery drivers where first class , everyone I spoke to at customer service where polite and understanding the third most important thing is donāt buy from then the guarantee is worthless

Feb 07,2025Ordered next day delivery but wanted a time after a dental appt. Despite contacting appliances direct at 7 am on delivery date; nothing could be done! If altered time, delivery would have been cancelled. I felt this was ridiculous as before 12.30, no one would be in & delivery slot was 11.30- 1.30. As it is, I got home 5 mins before delivery. Although courier had little English, he did the job.
