Very Happy with our New Dehumidifier, it is Neat a reasonable weight and has a good carrying handle. Works Beautifully! An Excellent Service from ‘Appliances Direct’ We enjoyed the video too! Delivery was Great, the Dehumidifier arrived within 2 days, BRILLIANT!

Having paid £350 (although the air conditioner is still under warranty) for an engineer that I was told was booked for today, I waited in until 3pm to be told it had not actually been booked. Update 7.2.25 The local engineer rang and said he could pop in and have a look, had I been sent spare parts. I informed him I had not received any parts. He asked for error code which is F2 & F3. He advised he would make a call. I then received a local call advising me the part was not available so I would be sent a new unit to ve replaced by engineer. I have spent the last month making calls to an international call sent hanging on the phone being passed around only to be told by local engineers what the problem is and very pleasing my £350 will be refunded. What kind of a game is this! I think I should be compensated for time wasting and being cold for the past few weeks!

I ordered a Tumble dryer on the 24th of January and was told it would take two days to arrive. The machine was not delivered untill the 3rd of February. The machine required an external vent which I had to pay a guy to core the wall to match the outlet on the machine. When the machine was switched on it made the most horrendous noise. I contacted App Direct who put me through to the manufacturer who confirmed the fault in a video call and gave me an uplift number. I contacted App Direct who said they would arrange a like for like replacement. The delivery company, Arrow Xl, arrived today with the replacment machine but would not take the damaged machine away, despite my having arranged this with App Direct - which the App Direct staff member confirmed today. I unwrapped the replacement in front of the driver and found a big dent in the side of the replacement machine. The driver told me he could not take the replacement machine back either, I would have to call App Direct. I did this and was informed that the machines could not be collected until Monday. I have a tiny utility room now filled with two useless machines for five days. When I demanded a full refund I was then told that I would not be refunded until both Machines had been returned. When I purchase a replacement it will definitely not be from Appliance Direct. UPDATE: In response to App Directs answer below. It seems they have arranged to pick up the faulty machines - one on Monday and mindbogglingly the other faulty machine two days later. It's irresponsible,wasteful and awful for the environment. It's definitely not a nice experience for me, and it in no way entices me back to being a customer. Twice bitten...

The online ordering and booking delivery day was very easy, A £60 saving on other suppliers and comprehensive communicationd regard order and delivery arrangements. Delivery was made as agreed and the the delivery crew were polite and efficient, all in all very easy transaction with great savings.

all thought a bit late we understand and it didn't matter ( traffic + other customers ) 2 very polite and obliging gents delivered and checked the cooker also cleaned up and put packaging out side for us

Haven't got dehumidifier yet. Paid £17 for delivery. Waited ages, no notion it was coming wasn't home, note through door that i have to pick it up 45 miles away! I can't drive. Absolute joke. Customer service still on hold .pathetic

Ordered a Hisense hob. Once installed we found a fault flashing F5. Contacted Appliances Direct who directed us to Hisense who said it was an installation issue. We called the installer back and lo and behold it wasn't an installation issue. Fast forward several emails to both Hisense and AD. Hisense are insisting it is an installation issue, AD are insisting on collecting the hob to test it before they will even consider issuing a replacement or a refund, we have said that we cannot be without a hob whilst they decide to refund or replace! Going around in circles since January 14th so we have had to apply for refund through Section 75 via our credit card provider. Advice, DO NOT order from AD or Hisense they are both useless.

The delivery time was notified in advance. The delivery men took the machine into the house and took away the packing rather than leaving it on the doorstep.

I purchased a phone. I decided to return it well within the 14 days. I opened the box to see the phone but the screen is too narrow. In the terms and conditions it states you can open the item and inspect it which is what I did. I then requested a return and a few days later, after not hearing back I called appliances direct. After being put on hold, I was told my return was accepted. 1 hour later I received the email which stated my return was approved along with an rma number for the returns. Then 2 minutes later I was sent an email stating I can’t return the phone as “the seal was broken and because I had it for 11 days”. Which is ludicrous. Because your returns duration is 14 days as stated on your own website. I have never come across a store that has said “you had the item for this amount of days so we can’t accept it”. Again your own website states 14 days returns which most stores have the same policy. Well sorry, but in your terms and conditions an item can be returned within 14 days. It states nothing about mobile phone seals being opened and not being able to return it. So your breaking your own terms and conditions. It is also breaking the law as in the distance selling act, the consumer has a right to inspect a product as if you are inspecting in store. I want to return my item for a full refund. Edit: appliances direct called me and still stating the same nonsense and not following laws or their own terms and conditions. You are not following the law nor your own terms and conditions. I will be taking this matter further because I am not in the wrong, appliances direct are. “8.1 If the Customer purchases the Products using the Sellers website or telephone number, the Customer may cancel the Contract for any reason, but no later than 14 workings days after delivery of the Products.“ - your terms and conditions. So why do you keep repeating I’ve had the phone for 11 days? I showed you photos of the phone in pristine and unused condition. *Also for anyone thinking of purchasing a phone or laptop from appliances direct, maybe look elsewhere as they will refuse to follow their own terms and conditions and the uk law if you decide to return it within 14 days even if it hasn’t been used! Edit: thanks for the reply. But will I receive my refund. I have spent the entire day making and receiving calls from appliances direct and them stating the same thing that I opened the seal and had the phone for 11 days. Maybe they should change their terms and conditions and state mobiles phones can not be returned and you only have a day to return it! Apparently they don’t like to follow the UK law and their own 14 day return policy. 14 day cooling period - According to the consumer contracts regulations 2013, consumers have the right to cancel their purchase within 14 days of receiving the goods for any reason, including a change of mind. Also what does reviewed internally and dealt with appropriately actually mean? Because I want a full refund for the phone. Edit - this situation has now been resolved by the head of customer service.

I ordered an induction hob from appliances direct on 2nd February. I was told it would be delivered the next day 3rd February, but it didn't arrive although online it said it had been delivered. I then checked this company out, and apparently they are always delivering orders to the wrong addresses, I rang them again and was told it would be delivered on the 5th. It didn't arrive, I was then given tracking numbers, when I checked this it was on it's way!! it didn't arrive, so today I checked the numbers online, it is with dpd delivery service, but can't be delivered because of an unforseen problem in my area, I checked this out, there are no problems in my area. I am absolutely furious. Avoid appliance direct, they are useless!!
