VW Crafter Had a claim for water pump and cambelt, they paid the claim slightly less than what VW are charging me but i am happy it got covered.

Bought the "platinum" warranty for Β£300 when I purchased my second hand car. After less than 6 months it developed an engine fault. Despite the repairs costing more than Β£1000, the AutoSelect warranty only covered a max of Β£250 - I would have been better off not having the warranty at all!
My incident date is on 10/11/2022 regarding my Mercedes cla flywheel any bells rings Auto slect....????? I am not bothering to fix it we are in process to rejecting the car because of your poor customer service and your T.C....πππ This company never going to improve. I've bought a car, naturally a problem arose soon after I bought it, because you know, secondhand car dealers are a breed of their own, like politicians... I thought it would be okay be I had a warranty. Little did I know it wouldn't be worth the paper it was written on. I took it in for a diagnostic check. I took it in for a further check and investigation. Supplied Auto Select with what they asked for. Auto Select then phoned my garage, asked what was wrong. The engineer told them what was wrong and then Auto Select asked if they'd investigated the fault. Really rude and insulting to ask someone who's twice looked at a car if they have done their job - because I assume Auto Select Warranty claims department only job is deny claims by being ignorant, rude and belittle everyone they speak to. It then appears that Auto Select Warranties wanted my garage to completely strip apart the engine of my car, at cost to myself, to find out why an electrical part failed. What started out as; we just need your garage to run a diagnostic check to find out the fault, has turned in to striping the engine at full cost, to then probably refuse my claim. Really not worth the paper it's written on!
First issues I had contacted them told me I could only go to certain garages the ones closest refused point blank when they found out who the warranty was with the closest one that would was over 30 miles away! Not only this the prices for diagnostics do not cover any garages either. That should of been warning enough second issue resulted in the car being unsafe to drive so had to be pushed to a local vat registered garage, got work done as have to get my son to school and I have to get to work they have taken the invoice denied my claim and claimed they spoke to the garage who is closed and I have confirmation from the garage they have not spoken to anyone it's a complete con do not bother wasting your money there are so many much better and more realistic warranty companies out there! IN RESPONSE TO THE REPLY YOU HAVENT CONFIRMED WITH THE GARAGE THE WORK WAS DONE JUST LIED ON THE EMAIL TO ME STATING YOU HAD AND ALSO I NEVER RECIEVED ANY PAPER WORK FROM YOU NO TERMS AND CONDITIONS NO CERTIFICATE EVEN THOUGH I CALLED AND ASKED FOR THIS BACK IN APRIL
Everyone told me that the warranties aren't worth the paper they are written on but I had no issues at all. In fact they were very proactive in phoning me to tell me the claim had been accepted (4 calls). Their policy is very easy to read and straightforward
Had a rather surprisingly pleasent warranty claim. outcome. Covered the timing chain on my 2012 BMW 520d. My limit was only Β£1000 and I had to pay the rest but that covered majority of repair bill.
Excellent customer service, quick service will be using them again as saved me time and was hassle free not like other companies

Highly recommend this company!!! The service and support I received was professional throughout. I followed the company's instructions and had my claim approved without any issues. They were very informative and stayed in communication with me throughout the process!!!
So far so bad. Very very hard work. Have been dealing with them for the last 3 weeks or so. We have an auto gearbox problem which was diagnosed by a VAT registered garage(as per their instructions) when we put the car in for a health check. We received the report back with various problems. Some we know are for us to sort out, others, according to our warranty, are covered. The person who we are corresponding with said they couldn't agree to the gearbox repairs until they have an indepth report. When I pointed out that this would mean removing the gearbox and transfer box which is a major job, then the Β£50 they pay for the diagnostic works will not even scratch the surface. At this moment in time we are attempting to get assurances that they will pay to have the car put back together at their cost if or when they refuse to pay for the repair. Very hard word and time consuming.
