If I was able to give zero start rating I would as one dosnt do the appaling service justice. Ordered items 10 days ago a few hours after purchase I released they were on a long lead time emailed 3 days later received reply saying wouldn't be able to cancel. Was promised it would be despatched as priority order still showing pending its been over 10 days they have my money where are my items??

Appalling service I wasn't given the 10% discount for signing up to Barbour. I still haven't received my order and the order was placed 11 days ago. Poor customer service. Advise that I would get the discount back but I am still waiting. Very quick to take your money but not quick to dispatch item. Will not use this company again

I ordered a shirt for a Xmas present, customer service took ages to answer the phone then the advisor couldn't care less , he said it would be sent out immediately and be with me by the weekend , nothing arrived, no email to say it's even dispatched , now it's sold out in every other shop!! Absolute waste of time , shocking customer service .

Best Customer Service. I received the best customer service in a very long time at the Barbour Store in Bicester. I was served by Thomas, he was extremely helpful in finding me a jacket that suited my needs without forcing a sale. He was polite, knowledgeable and really professional. I highly recommend going into this store just to be served by him so you can experience what true customer service is, whilst also purchasing a brilliant product. Thomas is a credit to the Barbour brand.

Vor 2 Wochen bestellt, Vorauskasse war zwingend erforderlich. Trotz Nachfrage keine Antwort vom Kundenservice, aber erstmal schön Geld einkassieren :-(... Ich habe ja Verständnis, wenn die Ware aus GB kommt und das länger dauert, das entschuldigt aber nicht den völlig unzureichenden Kundeservice. Ich bin gespannt, wann meine Ware kommt, habe glücklicherweise PayPal gewählt und werde wohl zeitnah dort eine Reklamation starten.

My husband has a Barbour jacket which he tried to re-wax, but the result was not good. I telephoned Barbour to get their opinion and they recommended sending it in for a rewax which we did. We sent the coat off on a Friday, so I guess they would have received it to work on on the following Monday. By Tuesday of the following week, it was back with us, looking good as new. Well worth £35 and would definitely recommend. Thank you Barbour!

Bought some Barbour ankle wellies thinking that they would be good quality but they leak. I have another pair that I paid just over 20 quid for and they're fine. After reading other reviews about customer service there doesn't seem much I can do about it. Disappointed and out of pocket.

Ware vor über einem Monat bestellt und bezahlt. Die Lieferung blieb bis dato aus. Der "Kundenservice" reagiert nur mittels automatisierter Antwortmails. Hätte ich ehrlich gesagt nicht erwartet. Update 25.11.21: Die Ware ist inzwischen eingetroffen. Auch der Kundendienst meldete sich nach der Veröffentlichung der Bewertung. Insgesamt aber eine sehr durchschnittliche Performance.

Unbedingt Finger weg. Barbour arbeitet höchst unseriös. Bestellung wird über Wochen hinweg nicht geliefert, Geld jedoch direkt eingezogen. Eine Rückerstattung erfolgt trotz mehrmaliger Aufforderung nicht. Der Kundenservice reagiert einfach nicht.

I have had cause to use Barbours alteration service twice recently for my 40 year old Solway Zipper, once to lengthen the sleeves and once to replace the old one way zip with a two way version. I can honestly say that their customer service and the workmanship of the alterations dept have been first class. On both occasions the guy I spoke to was courteous and helpful, flagging up any potential issues and arranging for quick return of the jacket, well before I expected, in time for a trip to Scotland. The zip used is far superior to the original and the lengthened sleeves do not look out of place against the original material. I must say I'm surprised at some of the negative experiences expressed on other reviews as my own experience of Barbours service merits 5 stars.

Ich habe vor 5 Wochen bestellt und bisher keine Ware erhalten. Das Geld habe ich ebenfalls nicht zurück erhalten. Mails an den Kundenservice bleiben unbeantwortet. Offenbar ist da was nicht in Ordnung.

Vor 2 Wochen bestellt und noch keine Ware erhalten. Habe vor 2 Tagen dann eine Stornierung geschrieben und keine Antwort erhalten. Also wenn ich das hier lese das dies auch bei anderen Kunden so ist dann sollte sich der Laden mal langsam Gedanken machen ob es so weiter gehen sollte! Ich finde wenn mal so viel Geld für eine Jacke ausgibt das dies auch geschätzt wird. Diese Erfahrung hinterlässt bei mir auf jeden Fall ein sehr schlechtes Bild

appalling customer service sent three emails asking for an order update .no response how this shoddy company can carry the royal warrant on its website is beyond me.like so many British companies it should get its customer service department sorted out.and stop treating its customers like dirt.

Bought a Barbour coat yesterday in Guildford. I forgot to zip up the coat in the shop. When I got home I tried on the coat again and when I zipped it up, it felt a little tight. I then went on the Barbour website and googled my closest Barbour which was 30 miles away in Brighton. I drove the 30 miles only to be be refused the exchange and told to go back to Guildford. No customer service. Rude staff and extremely unhelpful. I will never set foot in a Barbour store again. I will now return the coat to Barbour in Guildford and go elsewhere to a store that values customers.

Gleiches Problem wie die Bewertung vor mir. Knapp 370,00€ abgebucht aber seit 2,5 Wochen die Ware nicht versandt. Die Jacke brauche ich jetzt und nicht im Sommer! Stornierung und Rückerstattung laut Kundenservice nicht möglich. Mein Geld kriege ich erst wieder, wenn ich die Ware zurück schicke. Dafür muss sie aber erst einmal versandt werden und bei mir ankommen. Soll das ein Witz sein? Ich dachte, Barbour wäre eine seriöse und rennomierte Marke!?!?

Used to be a great fan of Barbour, have four of the coats/Wellington boots wife has two coats and Wellington boots that I purchased for her two Christmases ago and every time she wears them I get ridiculed that they were a bad choice and poorly made AS THEY LEAK!! I returned a coat to them to be repaired at the cost of £8 only for it to be returned telling me there’s nothing they could do for it. After that I decided I would not purchase anything from them again, I’ve now started collecting Fjällräven coats for me and the wife and although made in China and a lot more expensive than Barbour the quality is far superior.

Lieferung nach 4 Wochen noch nicht versandt. Stornierung nicht möglich, Ware angeblich schon unterwegs, kann nicht mehr gestoppt werden. Geld bisher nicht erstattet. Kundenservice reagiert langsam bis gar nicht. Unterdurchschnittliche Performance…

Bought a Barbour international jacket (not waxy) and it's fraying at the bottom within one month. Has never happened with other coats before ! Disappointing quality even though looks great.

Just purchased the new TAIN Jacket in Dress/Navy. I have owned my current other two Barbour jackets ( both Bedales ) since 1981 and 1983 -One in green and one in blue. And I still wear them -they still fit and perform perfectly…and I LOVE them BOTH so much -equally. Both so much are a part of ME: So many great times.. puppies, ponies, horses, children, walks, grocery shopping, meeting friends…so much life has happened while wearing them. Anyway, I felt at the age of 52, I should perhaps treat myself to a new one- LOL . Let me say the TAIN is destined to be the new classic! ( though it’s definitely a lighter weight oiled fabric ) yet the style -It’s perfect! Well almost -oh so very close! You cant ( horseback) ride in it because there is no way to split the side seems. A snap or two would make it 100% perfection ( for me ). But as a fantastic “everything else” jacket -it’s truly wonderful. I plan to buy a hood for it - if I can get one. It has the snaps under the collar so it seems it’s possible. I love hoods! As for customer service! 24/7 should be standard, or at least 7 days a week during biz hours. I agree with others - Overnight or choice of more shipping is ABSOLUTELY key! I buy everything with overnight shipping when I can, especially pricier items. I have absolutely no problem spending an extra $25 plus on shipping. What’s another $25-$50? C’mon Barbour! Get with the decade or should that be with the century we’re in! Invest in yourselves. *Customer service is WHERE IT’S AT!* Even Target does it better; they’re really good! Still,I do like your product. Doesn’t mean I’ll buy them if I cant get them fast enough or they dont hold up. Your American competitor is FILSON! Outdo them. Not difficult.

Have been to the South Shields shop several times over the past few years and found the staff were very friendly and helpful. I don't always find what I'm after, which would typically be in the huge discounted section, but do more often than not. My last visit yesterday was noteworthy because we bought a waxed jacket for myself and a quilted jacket for my daughter, the young man at the till said he would put them in different bags and went on to explain that the wax can transfer and that if you were to hang a waxed jacket in the wardrobe, you should turn it inside out to avoid it affecting other clothing. Seems obvious when you think about it but I wouldn't have thought about it until he made the effort to explain. My wife and I both said what a lovely lad, he didn't have to explain it but he did, excellent customer service which is all to rare these days.
