May 01,2018I have to say I was rather overwhelmed with the quality of the stainless steel meteor BBQ. I was looking everywhere for half a grill and half a plate. Really worth spending the money on the stainless steel one Arrived in a Saturday with excellent communication in advance from the delivery driver A little tricky to put together but followed the instructions and got there in the end. Very much worth the effort I am absolutely delighted with the quality and look of this piece of kit. Highly recommend buying the cover and cleaning brush and placing some tin foil in the catching tray! A totally excellent investment- it looks fantastic Only heads up is the instructions- would help if the pieces were labeled so you could match them with the pictures especially the screws. Found the pictures a little unclear (hood supports and drilling tray runners) on which way up to position components. Unless you are very used to assembling put aside 3 hours.

Apr 26,2018The supply and delivery of the bbq was just fine. However there is one design flaw with the item we bought. The plastics legs which incorporate the cylinder support are connected to the base by two small screws. Needless to say when we tried to turn the bbq to complete its construction the screws pulled out of the plastics legs making the holes too big to be able to screw them back in. After much cursing and adapting I managed to get a couple of bolts in to replace the screws, and the entire construction is probably more secure as a result. I’d expect a quality brand like outback to have identified this before putting them on sale. Now that it is built we have been impressed with its performance - a nice even temperature across the grill area which is easily controlled.

Apr 26,2018Punctual delivery, price was best on the internet available. Wanted a bbq with lava rocks rather than a grill only, this will be the second one from Outback, the first lasted 10 years! Expecting the same from this one.

Apr 26,2018I ordered an Outback Omega 200 before the warm summer weather arrived at a good discount of 25%. It arrived within 2-3 days via UK Mail who allowed me to track its progress online and the delivery driver called ahead half an hour before arriving. I've had a couple of these Omega 200s over the years and reckon they are the best Gas /Lava Rock BBQS at the price. They are fine for 4-6 fairly hungry people and last 3-4 years if you take the burner out and bring it inside for the winter so it doesn't corrode...and spares are available for burners and grilles if you want to get a bit more mileage out of the kit. Very happy to have got it at the price
