Jan 10,2020I am not in a place where I can take my new clubs out on the course. But, I swing on my covered back porch (even in temperatures below freezing) daily. As soon as I received the package I went back and tested the clubs out. They felt like I have had them for years. The clubs represent excellent craftsmanship (which is what I am pretty sure the Mr. Hogan demanded) and are physically beautiful. Thanks for your continued commitment to the highest standards.

Jan 08,20201 week in to Demo clubs, so far so good! They feel like butter even on miss hits. For me, the sweet spot is in the middle of the face vs towards the hosel. I’ve gained roughly 10 yards per club compared to my current MX900 Mizunos. A bit heavy but I do have s300 shafts so that’s probably a factor. The V sole does take some getting used to if your used to seeing divots after contact. It’s almost like your picking it clean off the turf every time. **Update** I’m now on my 2nd demo set with Kbs Tour V Stiff, what a difference! Kick point is perfect. Going to move forward with purchasing the black version. If your contemplating wether or not these clubs will stack up against other expensive brands, demo a set and take it to your local golf store that has a launch monitor and see for yourself. The sales guy couldn’t argue with the data. I tested against P790, Srixon 785 and Mizuno JPX 919. Now I just need them to send me a coupon! 😉😉

Jan 08,2020After getting back into golf after playing major junior golf and burning out, I needed to replace my entire set of clubs. I previously had 5.5 PX ap2s that I was fitted for when I was 13. After doing some research, I ordered Callaway Apex Pros with C-taper X shafts and hated them. After going back to the drawing board, I found a set of Hogan PTX irons brand new on ebay for $350 with KBS V tour X shafts. Added a 1/2", put new grips on, and had them bent 2 degrees flat and I love the irons! The are longer, straighter, and allow me to control the ball flight better than my ap2s. I hit my ap2 3 iron about 230-240 off the tee, I have hit the new Hogan 21 degree ptx up to 265 off the tee and average about 230-240. I also purchased TK15 wedges with KBS V tour X shafts and love them as well. They do not spin too much, which allows me to control my distance and ball flight better. I have just ordered a pre-owned Hogan GS53 driver and VKTR hybrid, only thing left to order is a fairway wood! All in all, I love the products at any price, but especially at the factory direct rates! Use code myswingevolution for 10% off new orders!

Jan 07,2020Since the day I bought my first Hogan Apex Irons I never looked at other irons. Though, I made a big mistake and bought Cleveland Hybrid Irons. I bought them because I lost my swing and now I got it back and decided to purchase the PTx Irons. I'm really happy with them.
