Dec 27,2019I made a slight error in my order, but it was easily fixed by the staff at Ben Hogan. Clubs are excellent. I played Hogan Apex PCs for years, but could not decide between the Ft Worth and the PTX Pros, so I bought them both.

I will be purchasing clubs in the near future after receiving your clubs through the try before you buy program..exceeded my expectations so far. Ptx pro irons are the perfect blend of feel playability and forgiveness.

Dec 27,2019I would say the overall experience has been really good. The worst thing about the experience was all of my clubs had standard grips as ordered except one club had a midsize grip which is easily fixed and they are working to send me a new grip. They answered my email back on Christmas Night, which was not my expectation. I had lofts and lies checked today based on what I ordered and I have never seen a new set of clubs be so close to the number. Most sets are off on 80% of the clubs. These were dang near perfect on the number. Folks can buy with confidence. The pro that checked them was impressed with the craftsmanship and accuracy and the one club he did set he said the club is like butter, it was so soft. I am a very happy camper.

Dec 27,2019I ordered grip labels down and +4 grip wraps, got neither. Ordered 1* strong irons and 1* flat. Haven’t checked, but if grips are any indication... Now I’ve hit the irons and wedges at the range. They are GREAT. DIstances we’re the same as my PXG’s. Dispersion was much better than expected and better than PXG’s. The feel and sound was fabulous. Very pleased with the performance. I think the lofts and lie were as I requested.

Dec 26,2019I've been a fan of Ben Hogan irons since the early 90's when I started taking golf seriously. I have a collection of 6 sets of irons from the 70's on up along with some persimmons woods that I've collected over the years. I was very sad when after 1999 they stopped making clubs. Tried Callaway's Apex irons but they just weren't the same. I was very happy once they came back on the market and that they are selling them direct. I've owned 3 sets of Irons since their return (2 sets of Fort Worth and I just purchase the PTX Pro irons). I've also been a fan of the award winning wedges. I just purchased the utility 18 degree 3 iron for Christmas (can't wait to get out there and try it out) and the BHM01 Mallet Putter I purchased in September - I would put the putter up against anything on the market today and the quality of the irons can't be beat! The workability of the Fort Worth are second to none and so far the PTX Pro's are doing what I expected giving me more distance as I'm know in my early 50's. I'm looking forward to trying out the Woods at some point - I'm a big fan of Ping's G400 serious at the moment. Thanks goes out to the craftsmanship and quality that The Ben Hogan Golf Equipment Company has been known for and continues to be!

Dec 26,2019I think this was for the golf grips. They are excellent and a good value. I bought a couple of 455 used Hogan woods that needed new grips so I decided to buy the 10 pack of grips in midsize. Plan to make a single length set of Hogans with the other 8 grips.

Dec 26,2019First rate equipment, I am currently hitting the Ft. Worth Black irons absolutely the best irons I've hit. I am hitting the new driver, 3 wood and 2 hybrids, along with the wedges. Talk about quality clubs. These clubs are money. And are a lot less expensive than the so called named brand clubs. The pros get paid to say how great their product is. Then that pro moves on to the next highest bidder to sell their products and the next thing you know that product is the best. Well Make up your minds which is it. Hogan clubs do not pay pros to hit their clubs. The pros have no idea what they are missing.
