Feb 20,2025Brilliantly organised private tour with driver and guides. Amazing hotels, excellent guides, highly skilled driver, comfortable vehicle and all ground services seamlessly organised. Well travelled couple who, in the past have used the better known travel companies. Bespoke were recommended by friends who also had a great experience. After this experience we will now have the confidence to use more specialised companies such as Bespoke who have the advantage of better local, on the ground knowledge.

The logistics side of the trip was excellent, like clockwork, and fitting flawlessly with the itinerary that we had arranged together with Bespoke India. Nothing was a problem for them, and there was always someone on hand to help us and handle queries or problems. Would certainly recommend them. A very friendly and helpful Company, with a wealth of experience in letting people fulfill their Indian dreams.

Feb 11,2025Bespoke India Travel may be a small company, but wow, they operate like giants. We, my wife and I, have just got back from a 30 day personal journey in India that was unbelievable. Having given Sanjay a list of the places we wanted to visit he then fine tuned it, passed it back for our consideration and then after further tweaking he then went ahead and booked everything. Flights, hotels, train journeys, places to visit, guides and drivers were all booked and paid for in advance, so no unexpected expenses whilst we were there. We were met at each charge of city by the local representative who explained the itinerary and who our guide would be. For 20 of our 30 days we had the same driver, who was excellent. Due to us both succumbing to stomach issues during our trip, the representatives were very helpful and flexible in either cancelling or rescheduling our itinerary. The guides would get our entry tickets whenever needed, organising alternative transportation when our car was prohibited from entering certain places and imparting their knowledge of the city in which we were visiting. We stayed in the most amazing hotels, thirteen in total, from small homestays to big and swanky. Everything went like clockwork, so why pay extra to a big impersonal company when you can travel and be treated like royalty with Sanjay’s Bespoke India Travel. Feb 09,2025We were a little apprehensive about what to expect on our first trip to India, but the tailor made experience by Bespoke travel was outstanding and great value. The itinerary we set with Sanjay completely met our needs and great support was there every step of the way from Rituka and others in the Bespoke Team, the drivers, guides and local agents. Any minor queries we had were always answered promptly. The range of hotels and homestays suggested for us were all different and special in their own way - all to a very high standard of comfort, cleanliness and personal service. The experiences and trips organised within the tour were fabulous - varied, informative and fun! Some of these we would never have dreamed of arranging for ourselves, e.g. kite flying, Kathakali, traditional dance, but we thoroughly enjoyed everything we did. We are so glad that Responsible Travel put us in touch with Sanjay at Bespoke. We really felt that our travels benefitted the local communities, minimised the impact on the environment, while offering us a better insight and a more personal experience than an ‘off-the-shelf’ tour from a big company. We are already thinking about returning to different parts of India and maybe revisiting some of our favourites. We can fully understand why some other visitors we met at a few of the wonderful hotels / homestays visit again and again, staying for weeks at a time, particularly in the South. There is no question that we would do this through Bespoke India Travel - we wouldn’t do it any other way, following this experience.

Feb 09,2025Thank you Sanjay and Bespoke Travel for the most amazing trip to Mumbai and Kerala. We were so impressed and moved by India, it’s people, culture and food. All of the arrangements that Bespoke travel put in place were first class. Their representatives in India did a great job and we couldn’t have been happier with the drivers and guides that we had. The hotels and resorts that we stayed at were fantastic, each one different but each was a lovely place to stay. We had great confidence in the accommodation, and any worries we might have had about health or tummy upsets soon disappeared. We had no such problems. All in all this was one of the best trips we’ve ever taken and we’ll likely be in touch with Bespoke again about another trip in the future.

Feb 07,2025This was the best holiday ever, to Kerala and Goa. We were so well looked after by Anil, from beginning to the end when he helped with check in for an internal flight we were struggling with! Anil was so helpful all the way during our tailor made journey to his much loved Kerala for fantastic 2 weeks, then on to Goa . The guides provided were really informative and interesting, and the drivers considerate and also helpful. Liaison was easy and responses immediate. One selected hotel did not suit us, another was found straight away which we much preferred. The highlight was the houseboat two night trip on the backwaters, will never be forgotten, but may well be repeated! Many many thanks to Anil for his care and attentions.

Feb 07,2025I cannot say enough about how well Bespoke cared for my husband and me throughout our trip to India. We were met at every airport and hotel by a courteous representative. We had excellent drivers who navigated the sometimes chaotic streets. The hotels were clean and comfortable, and the staff waited on us with hospitality. The local guides in each town were outstanding and gave us top-notch experiences. I must say that two Bespoke employees, Himanshu and Ritika, surpassed our expectations. Himanshu listened to what we wanted to see and do and delivered everything we asked. Ritika was there for us for whatever concern or question we had. We loved our driver, Subram! We are already planning on another trip. I would be happy to talk to anyone considering hiring Bespoke for travel to India. Have Himanshu send my contact information. If I could give them 10 stars, I would. THANK YOU for the trip of a lifetime!

Jan 31,2025Anil was super helpful from the start by taking the time to understand what we wanted from our trip to Kerala and he offered really good suggestions on how to get the most from our holiday. He suggested we do the farm stay as we were a bit reticent, but we are so glad we did! We met Anil several times on Zoom beforehand as we had loads of questions, nothing was too much trouble. Communication was regular and helpful before the trip and throughout. Our itinerary was busy but everything worked like clockwork. The accommodation was superb. Our guides were all fantastic. Our driver Sebastian was excellent. It truly was the trip of a lifetime and we knew we were in good hands. We had SUCH a wonderful time ❤️ I would absolutely travel with Bespoke India Travel again and can’t recommend them highly enough. Thank you Anil, Sanjay and the Bespoke India team!

Jan 26,2025We recently returned from our second great trip with Bespoke India, again with the pleasant, helpful, professional guidance of Anil Chauhan. This time the adventure for our family of six, 4 adults and two teenage boys, was to Northeast India. Anil has always been ready to hear about the various needs and desires of our family members and to adjust our itinerary so that all are pleased.The excellent, varied lodging was a big success. Our local guide, Rajan Chapuri, was excellent. He was unfailingly both pleasant and knowledgable, and always took the extra step to make our trip safe, successful and very much fun.

Jan 25,2025We had the most brilliant private tour to the golden triangle and can highly recommend Bespoke India Travel. From start to finish it was the most incredible journey which was planned with Himanshu and Sanjay..at the planning stage we had video chats and they listened to what we wanted and planned every detail perfectly from being met in Delhi airport at 2am on arrival by a guide and driver to booking the most incredible homestays for us. We had a competent driver for the whole trip who kept us safe on the crazy roads and he was so lovely. We had professional guides to show us the sites and the whole 10 day tour went smoothly without any problems. Can highly recommend a private tour with these guys and look forward to booking our next one!

Dec 17,2024Perfect! As independent travellers, this was the first time we have ever used a company to plan and arrange a holiday for us. I met Sanjay at the Travel Destination Show in Manchester and was impressed with his knowledge and passion about India. We spent a wonderful 4 weeks in India. We were met at each airport or train station by representatives of the company and taken to our accommodation. The drivers we had throughout our stay were excellent. Sanjay personalised the activities we did and the places we visited to suit our requirements. There were many highlights - celebrating Diwali in Jaipur; staying on a tea plantation in the foothills of the Himalayas; spending a wonderful 2 nights on a restored rice boat in the Kerala backwaters; experiencing a tour of a community ‘slum’ in Mumbai; kayaking up a river during our homestay. Everything about our trip was superb. We would definitely recommend Sanjay and Bespoke India Travel.

We went to Kerala this time and it was an incredible experience. Everything, from the hotels to the local guides to the drivers, were excellent. I can't recommend Bespoke India enough and I can't wait to plan our next trip with them!

Dec 09,2024Our experience was great. Sanjay is an extremely friendly and chatty person with bags of enthusiasm. Communication was easy by email or phone. We had lots of questions. Our holiday to Bhutan, Kolkata and Darjeeling was arranged well with enough multinight stops to allow r and r from walking and existing at high altitude. He followed our requests and built a holiday around four must dos - Crane festival in Bhutan, Tiger's Nest monastery in Taktsang, and Bhukara restaurant in Delhi. His suggestions made sense and added much enjoyment. Our stay in Darjeeling at a tea plantation was delightful and we felt pampered - an excellent idea of Sanjays. As was Kolkata, an eye opener and fascinating. Visas were well organised and with no issues. We did our own for India. Bhutan was arranged by him as is required. We arranged our own flights by choice, Sanjay was very willing to do that but was fine with us arranging them. The hotels he suggested were all fine, varied and perfect. There was an issue with the hotel in Kolkata but that was because the original hotel unexpectedly closed for refit, and Sanjay found an equally quality hotel as a substitute. Sanjay answered any questions we had with satisfactory answers. One suggestion is that travellers to India should be advised to get Rupees in small denominations on arrival, or have the guide arrive with a pre- arranged amount along with the paperwork. We were unable to get sufficient small denominations for tips. The guides Sanjay arranged were on the whole great and knew their stuff. There was a lot of road travel but the people carriers were perfect, comfortable, clean and allowed all four of us a window view. Sanjay gets excited for you and you look forward to your holiday with glee.

Nothing more to say - just a great experience all round.

Dec 08,2024Sanjay Oberoi of Bespoke India Travel organised a perfect holiday for us from booking Premium Economy flights with Virgin from Heathrow to our return 4 weeks later. We travelled to 11 destinations Starting at Amritsar then to Palampur (Wah Tea Plantation) wonderful, to Shimla in the Himalayan foothills, to Delhi, to Agra (Taj Mahal), to Bharatpur (great bird safari), to Ranthambor (3 safari’s and we saw a Tiger and many other animals), to Jaipur probably my favourite Hotel (The Samode Haveli) and destination, to Shahrura Bagh Half way stop over, to Udaipur and finishing in Mumbai with a super tour of the Dharavi Slums. Excellent tours of historic sights and attractions and days when we could suit ourselves where we went. We had 3 different drivers over the 4 weeks, numerous guides who were all at the places to meet us, 4 Train journeys and reps were always waiting for us to arrive at exactly the right spot on the platforms. 4 flights and over 1500 km by road. At one point I received a WhatsApp message from Ritika, our agent in India to say that I had dropped my wallet in the car at Delhi Train Station where we were travelling to Agra, the wallet was couriered to me complete that evening at our hotel in Agra (fantastic service). I don’t normally do reviews because I don’t read reviews left by others, if I wanted to find something to whinge about I am sure that I Could find something trivial but I can’t think what it would be. We met Sanjay at the Destination show at the Olympia in London in January 2024 and from that point we were sold on India we hope to meet him again in January 2025.

All the information we received and all the promises made to us before the holiday were completely delivered, and many times our daily program exceeded our expectations. All the hotels/farm stays were clean, comfortable, safe, and welcoming. We had great food and loads of memorable experiences. Our thanks to Himanshu and Bespoke India for putting together such a varied, excellent, and well-organised trip. One further thing that I want to point out is our driver Jagadeesh Lal was terrific - very warm, engaged, knowledgable, and always helpful, resourceful, and calm.
