Feb 25,2025Our experience with Billo has been amazing! Here's why: 1. Extensive list of creators to choose from 2. Turnaround time of the videos has been 24-48 hours which is amazing 3. Billo customer service is top notch - very flexible, understanding and willing to help with any request. I read some negative reviews which honestly, I do not understand. Billo has no control over the performance of your ad, the brand owner needs to select the right brief and creator and execute in social. When you type in the brief - be specific with the VO and how you want to creator to film.

Jan 22,2025If you buy a package, your funds expire, no extensions allowed with out them scamming you for your own money. Since when does money expire? Greedy and unethical company. The work we got from Billo was always mediocre and none of the couple thousand we spent with them ever actually did well. There is no actual customer support and it's just copy and paste responses. There is so many UGC companies to work with. Billo doesn't deserve to be in business.

Oct 15,2024Worst customer service ever. They claim to have live chat, but no one is ever online, no matter what time you try. Even worse, it takes them over 2 business days to respond to anything—if you're lucky. As for their so-called 'Premium creators,' almost everyone on the platform claims this status just to charge an extra $50, yet most of these 'Premium' creators can't even produce usable audio. This platform started out great a few years ago, but now it's a complete disaster. If you're considering working with them, don't. Try another platform instead

Oct 09,2024Super buggy system and when you report it, they either say they're aware of it already or that they've fixed it (which they haven't). Makes it very hard to find the right creators for projects when you can't view the ones you've hired before or marked as favorites. Because of this, we've had to request assistance from support for our last few videos, and response time is slow and only via chat/messages. Additionally, the entire UI is a little confusing and clunky. The only reason I'm giving it a 2 is because we have had a small handful of good creators out of this platform (but we've also ended up with some not so great ones). We're using up the rest of the credits in our "bank" here and then will be finding a new platform.

Oct 01,2024This app is great for starters however we get paid absolutely nothing compared to the cut they make on top of that I’ve had a lot of issues with brands not communicating With me and then leave bad reviews after putting in many attempts to reach out to them and Billo always takes the brands side over the creators. I recommend looking elsewhere once you build a portfolio $40-$70 is ridiculous for a 30-60 second video

Sep 28,2024It was our first time utilizing Billo for our Amazon Store/Social Media. Lots of talent with a wide selection of creators. Needed a little guidance with the platform based on our various videos we needed. Billo responded quickly through their Chat and helped us meet our goals. Our Amazon consulting/marketing group highly recommended that we utilize Billo to create a library of video's to help boost awareness of our product line. If I had to utilize a local video production studio and source various locations it would have added significant time to get these to market...not to mention significant production costs. Best value for the dollar. We will continue to use Billo for all our social media content.

Sep 26,2024Here’s why they’re a 3.7/5 stars. They are extremely overpriced, do not provide customer service via phone, and they charge a $50-$189 premium PER VIDEO on top of the $99 base rate, for a 15 second video. They will lie to you and state that the premium is $50 per video, but inside the platform, you’ll see +$189 under each selection, so you’re paying about $288 per 15 second video. The premium creators are the ones that have a higher rating, as many “regular” creators on the platform only have a 40% completion and satisfaction rate, which is very poor. So you reluctantly have to spend $189 over budget for EACH video. It’s a classic Bait & Switch company. I’ve already asked for a refund for my subscription.

Sep 23,2024ABSOLUTELY MONEY MAKING SCAM!!! I am a UGC creator myself and i have worked with some of the worlds biggest brands & I am absolutely shocked at the experience i had with Billio. The 'premium' creator i worked with was absolutely terrible with no creativity what so ever, out of 90 seconds she displayed our product twice in the whole video. It sounded super ad like and she did not follow our brief. My advice? Go to CLIP UGC or Fiver to get more professional creators.

Sep 20,2024They are scams They are scams. We purchased a package for over $3k. First, they increased the video price by over 60%, then the package was gone, and now no one is responding. They are really good at taking the money, but after that, everything is horrible. Stay away from them. We are contacting the bank and filing a lawsuit.

Sep 18,2024The concept behind Billo is fantastic. Unfortunately, Billo is seriously poor from a user experience (UX/UI) perspective. Users should not find it so difficult to use the platform for the first time. I'm currently ordering my 3rd and 4th videos, and it's taken me a week to get my head around it. Regardless of your opinion, a user like myself shouldn't find it so difficult to navigate/take my intended action. Hopefully, the next UX sprint will be a complete overhaul, or I simply won't use it again.

Feb 25,2025First of all, each video cost anywhere from $204 to around $300. So this lie that $500 buys you 6 videos is CRAZY and untrue. Second of all, they take your money and put it into a "wallet", so if you accidentally buy a second video without using it, you can't access your own money, or pull it out. Third of all, the video editing is TRASH. I edited my own, and it was better than paying. Crazy how low quality the audio and video gets after Billo's editing. Fourth, the influencers barely listen to what you instruct, and mix it up without you asking them to. Just not worth $260, maybe $30 for effort. I would not recommend it, and I think you would do better approaching influencers and working direct.
