Mar 13,2025Sharp edge on inside of thumb hole makes it difficult to wear due to pain.

Mar 13,2025I was told 3 times when to expect my package and it came after those times. If I were given a true date of arrival, I wouldn't have had to keep leaving notes on my front gate and keep looking for it and calling. I researched this brace for over a year, always telling myself I would love to get that, but instead bought the cheaper ones. All of them, one at a time and I finally said I'm going for it and bought it, only to be sadly awakened to the fact that it is no better than the others. None of them work. Also, if you do want to wear it all day, which I did, I couldn't, unless I wanted to walk around with a wet brace all day. Putting gloves over it isn't possible as I am too busy to make people wait on me and too inconvenient, as I wash my hands alot, wash dishes alot and cook alot. One more thing is the velcro on the straps was too short and when it stretched out after a day, I couldn't secure it anymore. Then upon looking at the return policy, found out it wouldn't be accepted for a return if I wore it more than just to try on. Ridiculous. Never again.

Mar 12,2025My orthopedist’s office recommended I get the ortho Medigrip device for arthritis in my thumb joint. The device seems sturdy and well constructed. The delivery was quick and the customer service and communication was excellent. The reason I am giving it only 3 stars—- It doesn’t provide any relief for me. My pain is the same when I am wearing it or when I am not. So, it was very disappointing. Especially since it costs basically $100.

Mar 09,2025Over the last 12+ years I have worn one of these to play softball to protect my thumb from further injury. I still wear it after surgical repair of my thumb because they have worked so well. The only reason I've had to replace them is because the Velcro wears out.

Mar 07,2025This is my 3rd brace lab over 10+ years. Pain is gone. I find just wearing it to sleep makes a big difference. I've show this at least three other people and made a big difference for them also. Do not try imitations, pay the money, last and does what it supposed to do. My orthopedic doctor did this for me instead of crazy surgery

Mar 07,2025ordering and delivery was great. does provide relief to my arthritic thumb. only complaint is that the velcro straps are such that the end of the velco is at the hard plastic thumb guard meaning it is very difficult to release the Velcro strap without it catching on the plastic. hard to take off.

Mar 06,2025My hard doctor recomiended this brace. It is much more compact than the brace i was wearing. It was a little hard to figure out which side was up but once I did, it was easier. The brace protects my arthritic thumb from further inflammation.
