Feb 04,2023It was not clear to me just after I signed up for Shell Broadband how and when my Broadband Genie voucher would be sent to me. However I emailed BG and had a nice reply. I have now recently received the voucher and applied it to my Amazon account - as I had forgotten about it, it was a nice surprise! Good fun, and it was a deal maker in my Shell Black Friday Broadband deal - Shell pitched in with 3 months free broadband.

Jan 29,2023So, here's the thing. I took out broadband through this company with the promise of a £100 Amazon voucher. After the voucher failed materialise, they advised that there was a processing error and casually added that it could take up to 75 days to receive it. Having not received it after the 75 days, I got back in touch to find that they had done precisely nothing. I'm now 103 days in and have filed my small claims petition as I will not be robbed. My whole buying decision was based on the value of the voucher which is 40% of the broadband's annual value. I have been completely conned and would suggest that you avoid this company at all cost. UPDATE: Well, to be fair, it wasn't a con and, thanks to Rachel, I now have my voucher... it wasn't the money, honestly, just the principle. My complaint was taken seriously, perhaps more so after I posted here, but it was more difficult than it should have been and, having never dealt with this company before, I had no way of knowing whether the issue would ever be resolved as the days ticked by. TLDR; they're legit!

Jan 29,2023It’s my first time to use this broadband. It’s good however, according to my kids the broadband is quite slow when they are using it with games. I haven’t received my promotional coupon reward from Amazon yet. When I signed up for this broadband it’s included.
