Sep 17,2024I ordered cakes for a friends birthday. The cakes were left at an unknown property with no clear notification as to where they were. I contacted Candycakes to advise them this had happen, they absolve all responsibility and states it was my friend responsibility to track down where the cakes were delivered. All this took time the cakes are now out of date and not recovered.

Easy to use webpage, lots of choice, promo codes sent regularly, delivery is always on time, cupcakes are packaged so well for transit, they arrive in London far better than when we get a delivery from Around the corner! Cupcakes are always delicious, great flavours too!

Sep 09,2024Ordered early as advised and requested delivery for Fri 30th August for a bday on the 31st. Cakes never arrived. Checked tracking to find they hadn't even been dispatched. Contacted Candy Cupcakes and said if they couldn't guarantee the cakes would arrive for the recipient's birthday I'd make other arrangements. They then dispatched the cakes and chose for them to be delivered on the Monday knowing they'd be late instead of the Saturday option which although not ideal would have been a solution to a problem they had caused. On the website it states 'we will try our utmost to make changes by liaising with the courier'. In my case however I was told just to contact the courier myself and ask if they would change the day for free, which was clearly not going to happen. I did try and contact the courier but they wouldn't speak to me as I wasn't the sender or recipient. I explained this to Candy Cupcakes but was just ignored. The cakes did arrive on Monday night so 4 days after they should have been dispatched and were unfortunately definitely not worth the wait!

If you are looking for a large order of cupcakes - then please use these guys. Separately I also ordered the cookie box for my nephew for passing exams and he said they were amazing.
