Apr 08,2025Was scrapping my car and tried two other companies. First one offered me £185 they then failed to pickup the car saying it was out of their area. Then the second company offered me £145, then they put it through to their registered scrapyard to collect. Then received a call saying sorry out of our area. So then tried car.co.uk and yes only offered me £100 but they then collected on the day I requested. Their collection driver was very polite and once collected received an email from them to saying payment will be within next 24 hour and within an hour it was in my bank. Car.co.uk excellent service from them.

Apr 08,2025My car died and required a fair amount to get it running again. It’s a shame as it was in very good condition otherwise - it just wasn’t worth spending the money to fix it. Car.co.uk quoted me £1200 and I called to double check as the car was a non starter. They amended the quote to £802 which I accepted. It was a better wuite than any scrap merchant and the guy who collected it was spot on. I’d highly recommend. Just get them to confirm the price prior to accepting collection and be honest with the condition of your vehicle.

Apr 07,2025Second time I have used car co and hassle free, book a day, show them your ID on collection, money in the bank straight away, good communication from themself and the guys are friendly and fast , would 100% recommend Yes u may get a bit more with we buy any but after the fees and all the paperwork and waiting on your money days later it’s not worth the hassle , don’t have to drop u car or van off and walk home, these guys collect from where you want , simple
