Mar 19,2025Quick search online for a scrap dealer, found Car.co.uk, got a quote and booked a collection slot. Plenty of emails saying what I needed to do and paperwork required. Reminder email on day of collection and then call from driver, offered me a new slot much earlier than expected. As time was suitable accepted it. Driver sent message to confirm and then another when ten minutes away. Arrived on time and parked so he could take pictures of the paperwork and car. With photos complete money arrived in my bank. Hoisted car on low loader and drove away.

Mar 19,2025This company was great for us. Made the enquiry at 8pm at night for scrap car collection. They picked the car up the following morning at 10.30am. Even had to call them off a neighbours phone to make sure they were coming and they rang my neighbour back for me to tell me they were on their way. Lad that turned up was polite and efficient - Can't remember his name but had Astley Transportation Limited on his recovery truck, was a 19 year old lad and was very helpful even helped me fill in the form for DVLA.

Was reluctant to do the quote online at first as I hate having to provide my email before I get the price, as I don't want to be harassed via email/phone if I don't like the quote. I'd like to decide to give my details after I see the quote. However I was happy with the price and accepted. The next working day they arrived to pick it up (after I chose the time slot), with no hassle or trying to lower the price. Before the driver even left the money was in my account! Super smooth and hassel free, unlike 2 other sites I tried who either kept phoning even after I declined the offer, or gave me an offer and then tried to lower it by more than 60% after I accepted. Had none of that with Car.co.uk, they gave a price and stuck to it.
