Sep 13,2018My car broke down rather unexpectedly and I desperatly needed a replacement as soon as possible. I was able to get a used vehicle in 3 hours with only $100 down payment. However, once I had more time to look into it I realized I was sold a $5-6,000 value car for $11,000. I understand carhops values in that they provide an option for those with little to no other options. But when it comes down to it they sell upside down auto loans. My car loan is double the value of the car, and when I asked them why this is the case and if there were any refinancing options, I was not given a straight answer and that no options exist. There is such a large discrepancy between the loan amount and the car's value that no other bank is willing to even touch it.

Sep 10,2018I do want to say the customer service is great. Everyone was very respectful. As a visibly lgbt individual i have to say i encountered no issues with them. And they were very respectful with pronouns and everything. I worked with Bruce. The only negative part of my experience was the limited availability of vehicles, which was more due to my credit history than any fault of theirs. They will work with you and try to get you into a vehicle though. Limited options just meant they couldnt provide one that fit all my needs. I am still driving thw vehicle i last purchased from them and its been a good fit for me. Definitely worth giving them a shot though if you have credit issues and need a vehicle. And you will be treated with respect and dignity.
