Oct 24,2019Wish we would have known the cabin was on a one way road and the road was narrow and very steep. Not the quality of cabin we expected at all for the money. Wine glasses were plastic and dining room table was bar height. Disappointed to say the least.

Oct 24,2019Stayed at Blue Ridge Mountain Club and had a grand time. The view was outstanding and very convenient to have a restaurant. The trip up would get a little long after awhile but it was only 25 minutes to Blowing Rock.

Oct 17,2019We loved the cabin and the lakes community it was in. So peaceful and quiet. Close to banner elk and no one so no problem with finding things to do. The cabin was very clean and well supplied with linens. Love the pool table and foosball table in the loft area for our boys. The hot tub was fantastic! I especially loved the back porch with the rocking chairs...such a wonderful break from our mousey street at home. We even had our breakfast on the porch every morning. The walk to the pond was awesome and fishing was fun for my husband and boys. We loved the place so much we decided to book an additional night. WE WILL BE BACK we loved this cabin.

Oct 17,2019The cabin was absolutely what I wanted. It was in great shape and I loved the location. The personnel at Carolina Cabin were very courteous and knowledgeable of the area to give me ideas of where to go and restaurants to eat. I will use Carolina Cabins again.

Nov 09,2019We arrived last night at Elk River Lodge. While the house is stunning and the view- to die for, the trash can was full. We were left with less than a half roll of paper towel and toilet paper rolls. There were no bath towels in any of the bathrooms. There were no sheets on the bed in the master. We have called and have not heard anything back from management. No one is able to shower. We have never experienced this at any rental property. Very poorly managed.
