During the course, I got to experience a wide range of driving techniques on several different surfaces and courses, including the famous Millbrook Bowl and the Alpine Loops. I now have a much better understanding of vehicle dynamics, and should be significantly faster on track.

Jul 30,2024Great day with Paul at CAT training. I’m a track novice and I learnt so much about the limits of grip of my car. I feel confident to take it onto a track environment and understand how the car will behave when driven at speed. The course was well balanced with theory and practical experience. It’s also a fascinating environment to spend a day for anyone who likes cars. Paul is an extremely patient instructor and understands people just as much as he understands cars. I can highly recommend.

The quality of both classroom and in car training from Paul and Colin is fantastic and coupled with the impressive UTAC Millbrook tracks, it enables you to test and experience the true capability of your car in a variety of high speed scenarios. I feel the training and driving experience combined has genuinely given me greater confidence and knowledge in order to enjoy my car to a much greater extent whether that be on the road or track. I had a great day learning so much about my car and trying new driving techniques which really helped me improve my driving skills and get the best out of my car. I genuinely arrived liking my car and drove home loving my car! Everyone at CAT is very welcoming and friendly. Jul 23,2024Colin was incredible. I have sat with plenty of race coachs before but never one who has been able to elegantly explain the physics of car control so well. I learnt so much from my day and I’m convinced I will be quicker and safer as a result. I will definitely come back for a different course in the future. Highly recommended.

Jul 04,2024Having just bought a new rear-wheel-drive car, I Immediately contacted CAT and booked a training day with them. I knew they would help me fully understand the dynamics of the vehicle. This was my third training session in four years, and Steve really helped me understand how the new car’s behaviours differed from my previous car. By the end of the day, my driving was unrecognisable. Genuinely cannot praise Steve enough for his remarkable training skills. Brilliant fun with excellent learning along the way.

Apart from being great company Colin has a depth of technical knowledge from being an engineer that helps to take you to the next level. Jul 01,2024I had two days of training as part of their track academy. I was super impressed by my instructor/coach Colin Hoad. He was able to use his engineering knowledge and experience to accurately explain difficult concepts in driving dynamics to a novice so I could start layering these in to my driving techniques. Milbrook is a great venue for this type of training it has everything. I’ve taken away so much information and techniques to practice and improve my road and track driving. Brilliant coupe of days

The tuition I received was second to none. I had a fantastic time with a group of like minded people who love driving and are willing to explore the required techniques to get the best out of you and your car. Still buzzing writing this.
