i dealt with a woman called Danielle Cook and found her to be very helpful, friendly, straight forward, patient and willing to explain everything to me. I'm more than happy to have dealt with her and that she continues to be my account manager.
I have had such bad experiences with Brokers and third party resellers in respect of landlines, energy bills and everything else. I have been under contract with Chess for some time now, and my contract is up for renewal. They are the only company that I like to deal with. Communication clear, costs very fair, invoices always on time and easily broken down, and today's call with Danielle Cook was great. What a friendly, knowledgeable and switched on person she is. The decision to renew with Chess was so easy and I know they wont let me down. They never have done so far. Thank you Danielle. It was a pleasure.

If I could award 0 stars I would. What a horrible unprofessional GREEDY company this is. DO NOT USE THEM NO MATTER WHAT THEY PROMISE! They have turned my life upside down and all because I had to pull out of a contract due to misfortune. I didn't move business premises, I did inform them and although I have been paying a CCJ demand for the last five years they still pursue it - they do not care. A £900 bill (for NO services) is now over £5000 because they decided to write to a personal address (rental) and not the business - SHAME ON YOU!

It took me ages to cancel the web service for our Radio Club, but I eventually succeeded after several emails and two telephone calls. Now, out of the blue, I have a bill for something called 'Dark Web monitoring services' and/or 'Line Rental'. I never signed up for these, didn't want them, and never used them. It seems they have just decided to bill me for the hell of it in the hope I will pay - I won't. Have sent them an email but no reply. This company is a joke, DO NOT USE THEM I got a reply - a list of services. No attempt to explain how or why I'm getting a bill after cancelling all services, and for something I never signed up for. I have sent emails to the company and they are all being ignored. I did get an email saying 'sign in to our portal' but I have no idea how to do this. I tried but it says 'no account with us'. Oh, and the email they sent was a 'no-reply' email address so the customer experience team don't care about customer experience. Next step is a consumer organisation
If I could give a zero I would. I migrated my BROADBAND and telephone line to XLN in January this was completed over 2 separate days. Yet despite emails sending completion codes I have basically been Called a liar but not in those words, I been passed on to debt collection and I haven’t actually done anything wrong . They say that I am still with them for my broadband I haven’t been with them since January.I have also involved ofcom and still I am getting nowhere ! They now want over £500 because apparently that’s how much I owe even at £27 a month that doesn’t add up to the amount they say I owe ! Even with a disconnection fee which by the way I was never given a figure I have repeatedly told them that I am no longer with them and to top it all of this afternoon I have just received another bill this month for £11.99 what is that for ???? Also the address is wrong I am not at that address anymore as they have been told on in numerous occasions We moved during 2nd lockdown someone else is in that premises we moved down the street. I’m writing all this on trust pilot as I know they have to read it . This company is horrendous
Add extras onto your bill with out telling you. Rude staff on the phone. Avoid this company. Will be leaving as soon as my contract is up.
