Jan 30,2023I have an elderly aunt (81)who has been put on a business account for some reason. All she wants access to the internet for is Shrewsbury Town Football Club and recipes . She is out of contract at the end of the month and is being promised a better deal but nobody ever phones back. She is not tech-savvy enough to deal with this herself so I have been phoning in her behalf. She's been mis-sold and your customer service is rubbish.

Jan 26,2023Both Sean and Kerryann were brilliant. They could not have been more helpful. Sean went the extra mile in connecting me with the correct service (Kerryann) when I contacted him in error, and Kerryann called me back as promised, and answered all my queries and questions very patiently and honestly. It was a pleasure to speak to both of them - my best customer experience for ages! It makes such a difference to be able to speak to a human being who cares about customer service and not be fobbed off by bots and be cast into endless loops before you reach someone who can help you. I'm not anti-technology and I can see its benefits, but it is so often used by service providers to block rather than enable customer contact, communication and ultimately satisfaction. I also really appreciated being contacted by email and being given the opportunity to contact yourselves by email too - not something that many others encourage. It was a very pleasant surprise to have such a positive experience and story to share. Thank you and keep up the good work :)

Jan 26,2023I'm afraid I don't rate Chess at all overall, very expensive, quick to cut you off when you're only a few days late in paying an invoice (which is backdated by the way), clunky service - I gave up with the portal! But all of that said, Jonathan Lee helped me resolve various issues when others couldn't and he's been an absolute dream to work with. I've not had to think about it, he's kept in touch and monitored our account to ensure all was finally sorted. He's great and a credit to Chess.

I had a technical problem that I could not resolve on my own I rang up and got through to Jason who couldn't of done more for me . Went above and beyond to fix it. Top marks and a real good guy to speak with. A breath of fresh air ✨️

I spoke to a young lady called Lauren Hargreaves who was very understanding, compassionate and efficient which made my experience, at a very difficult time, very easy to do. Lauren continued to be friendly but efficient during our follow up conversations whilst preparing to close my Dads account.
