Aug 17,2020Wow! I am really surprised with the quality of Chi Dog food! This fresh, human-grade dog food is top-notch! Although I am very satisfied with my product, I do have a few suggestions to improve the client's experience. Unfortunately, the dog food contains a small quantity of unnatural vitamins and minerals that are just toxic chemicals and unhealthy for consumption by dogs and humans alike. In the form of sprays, dog food companies add them just to meet AAFCO's nutritional standards! When dogs digest these chemicals, they try to absorb the nutrients, but end up loosing energy in the process, resulting in a lower-energy, unhappy dog. Fortunately, the list of the toxic vitamins in Chi Dog food is not extensive, so it is less harmful compared to other dog food companies, such as Purina, Pedigree, Zignature, Merricks, and others that add them in higher volumes. Otherwise, I am satisfied with my purchase of Chi Dog food. P.S. When choosing dog food, avoid food containing raw meat, any feed-grade dog food, food containing flour, soy, or corn, food containing glycerin or gelatin, any type of meat meal, or any toxic vitamins and minerals described above. There are many great brands out there; it just might take a little time, planning and research for a meal plan that fits you and your dog's needs. Oh, me? Aug 13,2020I have a 9year old standard poodle named Remi who has heart disease, he is a Fire dog and loving his new diet! I was impressed with how much food comes in a order And how appealing it looked. My only downfalls so far is my shipping label stated “3 plastic lids included” and I did not receive them and I had to contact the company, since have received them but it was just an extra step. It’s a little on the expensive size to feed a larger 69 pound dog. I also don’t like that the thawing directions give you the option to put it in the microwave, I’ve always been told that it takes away so much nutrients from meats.

Jul 28,2020This food literally saved my dogs life. He just stopped eating and was wasting away. He is 14 1/2 and always had tummy issues, stemming from a horrible puppyhood on the streets, but now my boy is eating and excited when he sees this plate of food!

Jul 16,2020My dog is a black pug, with a funky textured coat. The vet was concerned because it lacked shine. It’s only been 3 weeks, but so far, I see a difference on her head, paws and a skunk stripe down her back. Hopefully, the rest of her fur will catch up to the new “shininess” I’m starting to see. The vet said it could take up to 12 weeks to see a difference. 🤞🏼 She is on the metal/beef diet. She seems to eat less now, but I NEVER had a problem transitioning her. She never had diarrhea during the transition. However, to get her to take to it (at first) I’ve added shredded cheese. I’m sure the vet would say that’s a “no, no” due to pugs having weight problems, but it worked!

Jul 16,2020My dog is allergic to everything. I have been feeding her a pet food that is a fortune for the last five years. Her paws became extremely inflamed and between my Vet and Chi Dog I chose the water diet. Not only has Noel not become ill but she loves it! It so much easier to feed than what I was using and I'm saving more than 50% annually. Yes, I said 50%. Everyone, please look into this food! It's amazing!!

And working with Dr Bohrer has been especially wonderful! She’s so helpful and fast to respond. The entire experience has been such a blessing.

Jul 08,2020I ordered this food for my dog and she absolutely loves it! Everything is of highest-quality, Including the careful packaging and shipping of the food! I had switched to this food due to the fact that my dog came down with kidney disease. Commercial grade dog foods are so bad and it is important to me that I feed my girl the best quality food I can short of making it myself! I know that everything is carefully balanced out for her individual nutritional needs. Without reservation, I would recommend this food to anyone! I am thankful that I found this company! If you love your pets, make the change!

Jul 07,2020I called to inquire about Chi Dog and was so thrilled (and taken aback) when Dr. Bohrer answered the phone. We have a sick puppy and it was so helpful & reassuring to speak directly with the Vet. We have only ordered once, but hope to get back on Chi Dog when our little Cabo is healthy again.
