Jan 17,2020Chose this per vet recommendation, but I feel duped by a Chi Dog sales rep to my vet. My dog was on raw diet, but wasn’t losing weight. He also has diabetes that we’re trying to get under control. Chose “metal” version since diabetes was listed. After 3 weeks, he gained 2 lbs! Wrong direction! Also, way too much packaging & plastic lids broke (all of them). Human grade meat sounds like a lower standard than I had for my raw food company, non-gmo species appropriate feed, no hormones, one sourced farm. Also, more expensive than raw food diet. The blurb so-called about my dog, printed on box was not true, but again I chose it due to my dog’s health issue listed for that variety. Disappointed in my holistic vet, mostly, for recommending Chi Dog.

Jan 14,2020It’s great dog food, but my dog didn’t like the Fire Diet and she couldn’t tolerate the Water diet. The water diet caused her to have gas and her belly was grumbling quite often. If you can find a diet to suit your dog, they are awesome! I wish they had a fish diet, our miniature schnauzer loves white fish.

Dec 26,2019I love the concept and the fresh foods. I have tried fire dog with my sheepadoodle and she isn't crazy about it. I have to add in cooked food that I make for her to get her to eat it. But, she is poodle picky. I intend to try the metal next.

Dec 26,2019The company is outstanding. The communication with the veterinarian that is part of the company goes above and beyond anything that I have experienced with a fresh food company this far, and I have tried almost all of them. My baby is a pekingese and incredibly picky, and she ate this diet, right away and liked it. Unfortunately, we did not get to eat much of it as we had an unrelated health issue come up. But Dr. Bohrer has been fantastic about it and we will be back once my little baby gets better.

Looking forward to feeding them such high quality ingredients from now on. The quality and simplicity of the diet formulated by great Veterinarians makes a big difference. Darin N

Dec 03,2019My dog has become a Chi Dog. Started this food as a recommendation from our vet. My girl loves it and I know it’s good for her. We have seen many of her health issues improve tremendously and some seem to have gone away. Highly recommend this product.

Nov 19,2019Everything about this company has been great. My dog is dying of cancer and has chosen to eat the fire diet. I wish her appetite was better but I feel good that she’s eating. We will order again when she gets threw the first two weeks. Also they have altered delivery without a problem.
