Jan 31,2025Ordered Thurs, came on Sat morn by Royal mail so not chucked over the fence like some couriers. All three toilet seats were in good condition and fitted perfectly. I would have liked some more info on the fitting as the plumber i was using struggled a bit with the hinges on the first seat but we got there in the end.

Jan 30,2025We came across Choice Replacement Toilet Seat Shop whilst looking for a replacement seat for our Britton Bathrooms Compact Soft Close Toilet Seat. Based on our experience, we would not use them again. This is what happened: - Having seen other reviews where people had experienced a long delay between ordering and receiving their product, I emailed the Sales Team to check that the item we needed was in stock. - Once Customer Services had confirmed that they had a number of these items in stock, we placed an order. The order itself came via Royal Mail and only took a few days to arrive. - When we opened the package, we were surprised and disappointed to see that we had been sent a completely different toilet seat. It was a completely different shape to our existing seat (with an Oval interior shape, rather than a D-shape) and the fixing holes did not match up with our existing seat either. On further inspection, we could see that the Britton label had been stuck on top of another label for a Bemis toilet seat. - We immediately wrote to Customer Services to advise them that we had been sent the wrong product, and that it looked like there had been a labelling mistake. - When Customer Service replied, we were shocked to find out that they had deliberately sent us an alternative toilet seat. The explanation we were given was “Unfortunately the original seat for the Britton bathrooms compact is discontinued and no longer available from them. The received product is correct for the toilet however and will still fit as expected. This is the closest alternative product we offer for the toilet, so customers have an option.” They suggested that we could either try and fit the seat, or return it for a refund. - We replied to point out that substituting the product in this way is a direct contravention of the Consumer Rights Act 2015, and that we would not have made the purchase if we had known that we would be getting a substitute. - Customer Services replied to say “We typically always display if a product is an alternative so we apologise this has been missed when updating the listing on this occasion.” - They sent us a return label and we posted the seat back to them the following day. We did not try to fit the replacement seat because the fixing holes were in a completely different position to our original seat, and it is not possible to return toilet seats once you have removed the protective film anyway. - Via the Royal Mail Tracking service, we were able to see the parcel was delivered to them 3 days later. - Due to receiving no proactive updates from them about the receipt of the item, or about the refund, we chased them up on 3 occasions before receiving the refund. - It took 3 weeks to obtain the refund, and they did not seem to be at all bothered that this timescale was contrary to the Consumer Rights Act 2015, which states that refunds should be processed with 14 days of the date that a company receives a returned item. - It’s now a month since we raised the fact that they were advertising a product that they could not supply, but the website has not been updated. - To end on a positive note, the Customer Services staff were all pleasant and helpful, but we definitely have no plans to deal with Choice Replacement Toilet Seat Shop ever again.

Jan 29,2025Good sturdy seat and lid, fits Space WC. Only small problem was that the plastic spanner would not fit under the rim without cutting a 20mm off the bolt. Once that is done worked a treat.

Jan 29,2025I bought V&B toilet cover seat from them about two years ago. The cover seat broke and informed them about the failure. The shop contacted with V&B and arranged delivery of a replacement toilet seat under warranty in a few days. Thanks for all the help.

Jan 29,2025I've been looking for a good quality replacement toilet seat for a discontinued Ideal standard bathroom suite for some time. I've tried 2 universal seats from DIY stores but they have never fitted properly and have come loose. Choice replacement toilet seat shop had an original manufacturers seat in stock, I was able check the dimensions easily from their website to ensure it was the correct one. It was delivered today and fitted perfectly. No more wobbly loo seat just like new

I didn’t even know the parts could be purchased and saved over £75 not having to buy a new toilet seat. Brilliant company to deal with well done good old customer service something rare these days

Jan 31,2025Alex was very helpful in identifying the exact model of Vitra toilet seat I needed from my description (there was no model name or number on the part to be replaced), and sending it promptly once I placed my order. Just unfortunate that it was by far the most expensive of the Vitra models, but there was nothing Alex could do about that!!!
