Mar 31,2025I bought a garden parasol and base from Christow in May 24 and at the end of the summer season stored both items in the shed for the winter. With the weather now improving I tried to reassemble the parasol and base only to find that the thread within the tubular section that holds the parasol was worn making it impossible to fix it firmly to the base. I contacted Christow customer services for assistance only to be told that the warranty for parasols is just 6 months and there was nothing that could be done to help. This seems to be an extremely short period of time for items that I’m sure most customers would quite reasonably expect to last considerably longer. The base unit which was purchased for approx £50 (reduced from something like £74) has certainly proven to be very poor value for money. Based on my experience I’d suggest that anyone considering purchasing from this company look elsewhere.

Mar 25,2025Greenhouse Fleece Cover arrived quickly and appeared decent enough. It is certainly a good price, but it only lasts one season. The guarantee is only 6 months, and indeed, it disintegrated when needed to be used again (like others have mentioned). If you consider it a disposable item, fair enough. I had intended to use it for many years.
