May 31,2023Communication is very difficult when there is no phone number. Things can be misconstrued via messages. It also takes much more time out of my day trying to message customer service versus picking up a phone and having a conversation.

May 31,2023Horrible service. I am very upset the lack of responsiveness of clearit. First there is no telephone number to call and talk to a human. I can only use the chat and they take days to respond. Clear it just don't do their job and they lie to your face. They claim my cargo is on hold for custom clearance but I checked the warehouse where the cargo is being held and they told me they have not received the paperwork to transfer the cargo to the custom facility. Customs required the cargo to be sent to their facility 11 days ago! But cargo is still waiting at the warehouse. I wish I have used another broker. I am trying now to get them to release forms so another agency can take over. Don't trust the good reviews posted to their website, Google the real reviews from real customers.

May 26,2023The Online set up was good. It was the first time I used a custom broker for a shipment out of Canada. The only problem was not a lot information about Getting a PAPS Number for BOL and when we were all set up to move freight the online Email It said Your ready to ship. Did not say go to the Canada Shipping Company to contact Clearit to get forms moving.

It was very important that aside from the great and easy to use system, I was be able to have a person responding to my every question clearly an expeditiously. They reviewed every document and requested the changes needed for them to comply with US Customs, and kept me informed all the time.

May 19,2023Horrible company. If you enjoy being ignored and having none of your questions answered, pick Clear It USA. My broker ended up ghosting me on a time sensitive shipment. Response times in general are very slow. They ask for additional info that's already provided within the documents submitted. They don't seem to have any idea what they're doing. Do NOT use Clear It USA!

What could have been improved was the sharing documentation with me, as all I got was an invoice that said everything was fine. Actually seeing the documents that were sent to customs and the trucking company would have gave me more confidence in the process.

May 11,2023Terrible communication. Issue after issue causing me to have to open multiple accounts. I asked repeatedly to talk to a live person and couldn’t even get anyone to call me. I received an email saying my shipment had been released and my forwarder is showing it hasn’t. I am accumulating fees. Your response is BS. I just uploaded screenshots from today after your responses SHOWING IT IS NOT RELEASED AND STILL ON HOLD. The only thing you are quick to respond to is reviews -- certainly not shipments

But instead I was asked to submit massive amounts of duplicative paperwork and finally told them I'd get another broker and weeks later I'm still fighting fees they've charged me.

Jun 13,2023As an online customs broker they are completely incompetent and cannot get the customs clearing done. If you want your customs form done in any realistic timeframe, you should not use this company. First of all their website and system is broken everywhere. The system makes you newly sign up when signing a new form, and signing from an existing account does not work. That means if you need to re-sign a for any reason, you are doomed. They don't have a "delete account" link so you will have to go through with customer support, which is a nightmare (more on that later). There are some stuff in your address or your account that you cannot change, so that also has to go throught customer support. Not all websites are perfect, so this isn't a terrible thing... As long as the company has a decently functioning customer support. Unfortunately this company's customer support is worse than you can imagine. They don't have a phone support, and their customer support will respond to you maybe 1-2 times a day if you are lucky. And their response will most likely not solve your problem - you do as they say, and you run into another problem caused by their disfunctional website. So you reach our to the customer support again, and wait 1-2 days. Repeat that about 5 times and maybe you will accomplish whatever you wanted to. For a time-sensitive service like shipments and custom, this quality is just unacceptable. Using this service will most likely mess up your shipping and business schedule. We cancelled them half way and used another customs broker, but who knows what would have happened if there would have been issues at the customs. No phone number and terrible response time - How much will that affect your shipment schedule?
