Hi friends, I had some complications with my BBL surgery. The first hospital rejected me due to some slightly off blood test results. Mono moved me to another hospital and it went ahead 8 hours later. It was only when I was being drawn on that I realised they had changed my surgeon without telling me. I was really angry and considering cancelling. He didn't speak any English either. Mono do not have their own hospital space. I don't even know if my surgeon works for mono or the hospital. It was very last minute and rushed and I didn't get to ask many questions. I decided to go ahead with it and I am happy with the results so far which is reflected in my overall rating. But I did not feel totally safe like I would in my own country. They had disconnected me from my insulin (diabetes) for an hour after surgery which meant my blood sugar started climbing high which is dangerous. I resolved this myself in a few hours but I felt really unwell. I have a good diabetic in team in London I was in touch with about the surgery to help me from before I went out there to prepare for all situations, thankfully. But disconnecting me from insulin and leaving it is dangerous. There's a lot of red tape and paperwork once at the hospital and you have to sign all the forms in Turkish and give a lot of blind trust, otherwise surgery will not go ahead. I was held on my sickest recovery day in the waiting room before a checkup and told I would not get the checkup unless I signed another form about something unrelated. The patient care is hit and miss. Sometimes things get answered, sometimes they don't. But you have to keep asking or it might get forgotten. But they are polite and will try to help as best they can. It will be better in your own country but we all know we come to Turkey because it's well priced. And I think they see so many patients that they have good experience with the surgery itself, but you might not have as much clarity on how they operate. Ask lots of questions!

I went to Mono for my teeth 🦷 I was very happy with care given and my English speaking co ordinater Fatima was amazing. There was a lot of waiting around but worth it. Thank you Mono & Fatima šŸ™

That was my second time coming to Mono. It feels like Family here. Fatima, my patient coordinator, was amazing, so kind, helpful, explained everything, really sweetheart ā¤ļøā¤ļøā¤ļø I became new smile 😁 and Iā€˜m going home New me 🄰 Iā€˜m so thankful for Mono clinic, so great team and good job. We are see you again šŸ«¶šŸ»

My first experience with mono clinic was wonderful, Büşra and Barris those guys are kind they were guiding me, when I was lost, they gave me all the information I needed, calling me asking me if I am fine. The hotel and services I will go with 100% the Hospitality nice place, hope will coming back soon for my teeth program thanks!!šŸ™ for all

I have just returned home from having my gastric sleeve with the Mono Clinic. I am going to be completely honest with my review as I feel it is only fair to anyone interested in using this company. I have good and disappointing parts. When we arrived at the airport there was no driver waiting for us, we waited in total for nearly 1 hour, and this was after contact my travel consultant. Arrived at the hotel which is lovely and the room was very well furnished and very comfortable. Unfortunately that evening some other guests created quite a commotion, broke the lift, punched a whole in there room door and I believe the police had to be called. We were picked up promptly the next morning to go to the hospital, where I can honestly say the care that I received was second to none, all tests were performed efficiently and I was kept informed every sept of the way, mainly by Baris who was my guide whilst at the hospital. I meet with the surgeon who was very welcoming and informative. Surgery went without a hitch and recovery was very quick and relatively pain free. All sounds good so far. When I first booked this time last year I asked if I could pay by bank transfer as I really didn’t want to carry a large amount of cash, to be informed I could. I asked this question again a few months later and again I was told I could. Approx 3 months before I asked for their bank details so I had them ready for my husband to make the transfer to be told we would get them on the day. I then asked again could the confirm I could still pay by bank transfer 3 days before travelling to be told I had to pay by cash 😔 as you can imagine I was not happy, but what else could I do. Then the day after surgery Baris informed me that the hospital wanted me to pay Ā£70 for the anaesthetic, I point blank refused as I was lead to believe that all medication was included in my packed and had not been told otherwise. I then had to produce message evidence of this. Baris then said that any medication I got at the hospital I had to pay for but any I got at the Mono clinic was included. Again I said I was not paying any more money. Also they don’t tell you that the protein shakes you need after surgery are not included until a week before you travel. Anyway I was checked out of the hospital and taken to the clinic, spoke to the dietitian who is also a great salesperson!!! Protein shakes, liquid vitamins and stuff to stop getting constipation Ā£140 lighter. Then I get told my surgeon had written me a prescription for some medication I needed, blood thinners, painkillers, anti sickness, and stomach protection, thought great…. We go over to the pharmacy opposite and I’m another Ā£40 lighter. None of this was explained at all or had I been informed of that I would need to pay!! That’s why they tell you to take Ā£300-Ā£400 pocket money. As a sum up, I feel that there is a serious lack of communication between the Mono clinic staff, mainly because they didn’t really seem to know much me, or when I was flying home. They didn’t know what I had been sold, hadn’t given me all the correct information regarding extra costs. Please make sure you save all your correspondence from them, ask lots of questions, and don’t be bullied into paying more. Would I use Mono again… yes because as I said the care at the hospital was fantastic, but no because I feel I have been misled.

Baris has been an amazing co ordinator. He went above and beyond his role and really took great care of me. He replied to all messages on Whatsap almost instantly and followed up with me regularly. He was very caring, kind and he is a hard working driven young man, 10/10 experience

Baris made my whole Mono experience one to remember. I’ve never met someone so kind, caring and passionate about helping people ā¤ļø I felt so safe coming out of my revision rhinoplasty surgery. He took care of me, bought me juices and my medicine, he even went as far as to keep my partner posted on my surgery and post care. Baris is an absolute gem šŸ’Ž this is my second time going to Mono, and with a cor-ordinater like Baris, amazing surgeons, this place is honestly a cosmetic haven! He went over and beyond to make sure I was always happy and comfortable, and was available to answer any questions of concerns 24/7!! Thank you so much for looking after me Baris, and being available at all hours of the day and night. Thank you for making me feel so safe and happy, and really showing that you care. We will never forget your amazing service! ā¤ļøā¤ļøā¤ļø

My experience at the initial speaking with Damla and Büşra at the booking stages on Instagram then through WhatsApp were amazing! I’ve never undergone surgery and they were extremely patience. I’m so blessed and grateful for this as it allowed me to feel confident in booking with Mono Clinic in İzmir. When I arrived to Mono I was presented with my own personal advisor named Baris who guided me through the process of payment, paperwork, hospital and aftercare if needed… it was very reassuring whilst being in a different country undergoing surgery he spoke very good English. Baris was very polite and very understanding as I was extremely nervous at the first point of call ā˜ŗļø We stayed in the villa and upon our arrival after being collected in our own personal transport I met the staff who manages the villa…. I was soooo happy receiving such a warm welcoming from staff it took away the worry… as you can imagine it’s very daunting coming to a country and having your first operation. The fantastic staff especially the beautiful soul of a lady Asuman cooked amazing food and felt like my nan back home, she is incredibly sweet helping where possible going above and beyond her role…. I was so so happy…. She is amazing lady wish I could have taken her home haha Oguzhan and Anas were amazing also, they were very accommodating and we all had a great time talking laughing and their English is very good too! Any problems they were very accommodating throughout my whole stay! The villa staff will be missed ā˜ŗļø The hospital I was taken too linked to Mono was Ekol Hospital Baris was with me travelling to the hospital and completed forms for the hospital guiding myself accordingly through the process prior to my operation….Ekol Hospital had TV in your own private room, allowing you to feel at ease as you was able to distract yourself by watching Netflix and YouTube…. Baris was there all the time if I needed any questions answering too which was good Upon being settled into the hospital I meet Dr Deniz and Ogulcan and it was a breath of fresh air as my surgeon DR Deniz spoke very good English so there wasn’t a language barrier when discussing over the work Dr Deniz would be carrying out on myself…. Dr Deniz is absolutely fantastic surgeon, he was honest and very professional alongside knowledgeable, he was very thorough in his work and care prior to my operation. What was best for me and my body…. He was incredibly right and I was amazed on the transformation him and his assistant Ogulcan did on me… It was very warming and very helpful to know I was in good hands ā˜ŗļø The nurses at the hospital provided me with the necessary support alongside my partner too. Nurses provided me with the medication and painkillers as I requested I was impressed by Dr Deniz and Ogulcan Visiting me the following day to assess me and asked me how I was… any problems to let him know which was wonderful During the whole experience having 360 vaser lipo on my tummy, back & sides and breast implants I would highly recommend Dr Deniz and his assistant Ogulcan. The after care is good, i saw my surgeon every other day to change my dressing and answered any questions I had too…. Büşra and Fatima who I meet at the villa were amazing too will miss their faces too alongside everyone else I crossed paths with during my duration at Mono Clinic Thank you all at Mono Many thanks Sharlene

I was travelling alone and a little nervous the morning of my surgery, Baris, my coordinator stayed with me the whole morning chatting with me and helping me feel more at ease about the whole thing which was really nice to have someone there to help get your mind off it. When I met Dr Eren and Dr Merve, they were both so nice and really informative and answered any questions I had and listened to me about what I wanted the outcome to be, letting me show them photos etc which again made me feel a lot more relaxed and excited about it all. The night in the hospital after my surgery was a little painful but the nurses kept on top of coming in to give me pain relief and would give me ice packs when I requested it which made it a bit easier to deal with. When I arrived at the hotel I was quite tired so unfortunately I did not attend the coffee and chats with the nurses and other patients at the hotel which I wish I did! The staff at the hotel were so kind and patient, also bringing me ice packs when I requested it :) It was really good to be able to order room service when you’re not feeling 100% and the food was really nice as well! Had a good variety of things to be able to pick from. I luckily didn’t need to much support when I was healing and was just taking it easy, but Baris would check in with me to make sure I was okay and didn’t need anything and kept letting me know to contact him if I needed anything which I really appreciated. The final check up was on my second last day before leaving, and I cannot express how impressed and happy I am with Dr Eren’s work, it is exactly what I wanted but even better, I still can’t believe this is my new nose, he listened to what I wanted and he did such an amazing job! I really love it and am so thankful I chose him to do it! My procedure done by Dr Merve is still healing but I am very confident I am going to love it just as much and I am really looking forward to the end result. A massive thank you to Ceren for organising my itinerary for me and making sure everything was well organised! Overall my experience with Mono Clinic was amazing and I would absolutely recommend anyone I know looking to have a procedure to visit this clinic, the surgeons and all the support staff are all amazing and really nice!

My rep baris made my experience a lot better he was there when I needed him from meeting me at 6.30 day of surgery till I left yesterday The hotel was amazing staff, food and rooms exceptionally big and clean one thing I would say was a to have a chair in rooms for patients as it’s hard to get out of bed I would recommend all my friends to come to mono clinic and ask for Baris Thank you for making my experience out of this world šŸŒ¹šŸ’‹

A wonderful BBL experience at Mono, thank you to the whole team! The hotel is lovely, the staff are amazing and all travel in a VIP car is included. I’ve had multiple surgeries over the years at different clinics over the world, including another BBL at another popular turkey clinic. Firstly, the staff at Mono are AMAZING. You are all so kind. Beste was my patient service coordinator and she was incredible. She spoke amazing English and I genuine felt like I brought my best friend with me for surgery. She was with me for the whole duration, I’m very grateful for all she did whilst I was there. (Plus all the help she gives whilst I’m back in England). I was nervous before surgery, but soon felt completely at ease. All the other staff at the hotel were just a dream. They gave me flowers and were genuinely so so kind and also informative with any post op information I needed. The first 24 hours after surgery was obviously the hardest part. A few years ago when I had surgery with a different company, they really tried to rush me out of the hospital room as they treated patients as if they were on a conveyer belt; even though I kept fainting/wanting to throw up and was feeling really light headed. So naturally this time I was so worried I’d be treated the same. After 24 hours from my surgery, I was still feeling faint when standing up and needed more time in my hospital bed. Beste/Mono didn’t rush me out, they said I could stay another night in the hospital if needed, or I can try to walk again (and leave) in a few hours. I was SO grateful and managed to leave after a couple hours. There is nothing worse than being rushed out of a hospital bed after major surgery when you keep feeling faint when standing up! So thank you for understanding. The nurses and hotel was lovely. Albeit I wish the hotel was nearer to the beach(!). The area isn’t perfect for friends that travel with you, but there are shops/starbucks etc near. After a few days we managed to go shopping in the nearby market which was fun. Plus Mono provide all the travel for you (in a lovely VIP car). The hotel food is nice, arrived quickly and reasonably priced. I’m very pleased with my results and I genuinely would recommend Mono to anyone wanting surgery abroad. Definitely a world above other competitive companies. Thank you, Mono!

1st visit didn't go exactly to plan, however the dental consultant came up with a plan that's going to be perfect in the the long run and he was very knowledgeable and wouldn't do anything that could cause more harm, so just waiting to go back for my second visit. Baris was our rep/translator he was fantastic though this process even with the bumps in the road he was available at all hours as we arrived late at night, even came with us to the specialist x-ray was in constant communication with me

I am very happy with my treatment and all people involved, both Baris who was my patient service specialist and the doctor who did an amazing job. Now I am looking forward to spring and summer with my new, leaner me.

Just finished my treatment for 24 zirconium crowns at mono and I am absolutely over the moon, they look amazing , from the very start Büşra helped me in going through the whole process of what I was to expect in detail, my dentist Burak Anil Sarp was amazing from start to finish a really nice guy, and my coordinator Fatima couldn’t do enough to help, thank you everyone for a great experience lots of recommendations coming your way 😁

I traveled all the way from America for my gastric sleeve surgery. Fatima was amazing, attentive and was by my side every step of the way … Dr. Caglar Ertekin was super sweet & reassuring! I love mono! Hazel, Busra, Damla where also a huge help throughout my booking process.

My best friend had surgery at Mono this year and we are so happy with everything. The communication was flawless. The surgery went smoothly. The hotel was just perfect. The staff (Ceylin,Fazil,Ozan) at the hotel were lovely and so helpful. Thank you so much. We couldn’t thank Beste enough for her help. She was amazing.
