Sep 23,2019Couldn’t pay with PayPal. Kept sending me around in a loop. Very poor website. Hope I don’t get charged as I tried a few times to place my order. If you’re using PayPal I would use a different website.

Sep 03,2019I ordered a Tilley Hat from Coes and got them to send it to my friend who was going on holiday to Thailand - (Where I live)..The service was very good . He bought the Tilley Hat to me when he got there...I was looking forward to it....Everything looked alright - except for some bad ribbing on the Left Hand outer Rim...O.K. it`s not the End of the World , I can live with it - but for 70 Pounds it`s not a reject I was hoping for...Never Mind - Life goes on. If you want to see a Photo of the said ribbing I will send it to your Email address.

Aug 19,2019The store Does the job for the school uniform and menswear . But buying uniform is a full afternoon activity 3x a year and the store needs to pamper this £300 activity. The store needs a coffee shop . So we can treat ourselves after. So as a mum I can dump the family and can carry on shopping. I appreciate there are clothes but the best part of shopping is a glass of wine or cup of coffee like at Fenwick.

Aug 19,2019Had to go for school uniform for two children. When we arrived we we met by a nice man who found two assistants to help with shoe fitting. I thought wow this shop is living up to the reviews. But it went downhill from there. No sooner did they start to measure the children’s feet but a horrible officious lady said we can’t have two people serving the same family and sent one of the fitters away half way through measuring one child’s feet. I watched and that member of staff did nothing else during this time but stand around. Made us feel extremely awkward. Then on to the school uniform. Didn’t have any of the sizes we needed and boy is it so over priced for what it is. Day light robbery praying on people who have no choice but to use these very shop. Left £200 lighter and with a falling lump in my throat that all my hard earned money was lining the pockets of these officious people. If we weren’t forced to use them for school uniform I’d never go back again.

Aug 14,2019We visited Coes for the first time today, as our daughter is heading off to secondary school in September and Coes stock the uniform required. Right from entering the store we were made to feel welcome, the lady on the front desk told us exactly where we needed to go and how to get there. We walked past the shoe section and were greeted as we walked by, up the stairs and through the sports section and again, were greeted when passing through. Once at the school wear area, help was immediately offered by a really lovely lady. She knew exactly what we would need and helped us to locate it all. She remained with us the whole time and even waited as our daughter tried it all on, so she could offer further advice on sizing. Once we had made our selections she then rang it all up for us on the till so we didn’t have to cue. Although the store looked busy, it didn’t feel busy whilst we were in there because the high level of customer service remained the same throughout. The store itself was immaculately clean and all areas were clearly sign posted. The school wear area also names each school clearly above its uniform, which is really handy considering how many different schools Coes supply for. This is some of the best customer service I have ever experienced and I think other stores could learn a lot from Coes! When your child is starting secondary school, it can be just as daunting for the parents as it is for the child, so to have someone so helpful and informative offering you such welcoming support, really makes the experience so much easier. Thank you Coes!
