Jul 06,2021Unfortunately the communication was very poor and got worse as the process dragged on. Questions were not answered directly. I didn’t feel like I was kept in the loop with the conveyancing as much as what I should have. I also still don’t understand why some solicitors will not just pick up the phone and call me to discuss issues. Instead an email gets sent to me (not even soon after a problem arises), then I respond and get a standard ‘we will try to get to you within 24hrs auto-respond’. This goes on for 3-5 days; a phone call with a follow up summary email would be have the issue dealt with within an hour.

Jul 03,2021We had a tight deadline to complete our purchase. While other solicitors we contacted said it will highly unlikely happen, when we called Coles Miller (Bournemouth), they (Karen) instantly showed sympathy towards our situation and said they would do everything they can to try and make it happen for us. As they explained, we knew that there would be many external factors that may prevent the completion to take place in time, but their understanding and will to try hard - got us decide to go with them. We then worked with our solicitor, Jason, who was fantastic throughout the process. He was firm where he needed to be, and extremely thorough and efficient with the legal processes that had to be done. On top of his excellence there, he also took care of our emotional well-being, without which we could not have survived this stressful time! We really appreciated his communication and caring skills, especially when we never met in person throughout the whole process (due to pandemic). Despite many problems that emerged along the way, Jason made it happen for us so that we could complete just in time! But, even if it didn’t, we’d still have left a very positive review because we always knew that they were trying their best for us and that was what really mattered to us. Thank you team (especially those we directly communicated with: Jason Barnett, Karen Price and Laura Bowie) - you were all absolutely pleasant to work with!

She has been amazing, keeping us continually informed and showed great tenancity and perserverance to get the transaction over the line in time. She helped us feel supported through a very stressful few months, nothing was too much trouble and she is a thoroughly nice person. I would highly recommend her.

Jun 23,2021I completed a will with coles Miller. The solicitor told me that I would need to go in and sign it in their presence to validate it once the Covid lockdown was over. Still waiting for Coles Miller to invite me in to complete the signing a year later. I guess the will isn't valid and I wasted my money then! Never would use them again
