What's going on in South Woodham Ferrers? We pre registered a year ago, we had three visits and two surveys. Photos taken and cable route agreed, date given for install no show no contact. Another survey carried out, route agreed, then had a long wait for some permission to be granted to the cross road. Now, been told we can't have it as the work costs too much! Houses across the road have it, as does many more in our suburban area. Does that mean no one on our side of the road can have fibre? We feel very let down and messed about by Connect Fibre. In answer to CF reply: No formal offer of an alternative route was offered that we are aware of. Maybe interested if someone with the authority actually came to speak with us. To repeat, a route was discussed and agreed with photos taken by Chris I think.

We've been with Connect Fibre for quite a few months now. We decided to use them having a) had very competitive pricing offered to us and b) the reports of great customer service....something lacking in the big broadband companies. The latter I can definitely vouch for. During the intial install they were very responsive and called several times to make sure we were happy. Then in the last week we had an issue with the broadband not working. I phoned up in the morning to report it. Within a couple of hours there were two engineers on our doorstep who diagnosed and fixed the problem (new ONT required). Again the service team were proactive in calling and e-mailing to make sure all was OK afterwards. For this reason alone I would highly recommend Connect Fibre to anyone looking for high speed internet at a good price with quality after care.

Everybody I’ve spoken to has been very helpful although installation is not for a few days
So, been with these guys around a month now, no complaints at all. Installation was on time and straightforward, friendly courteous engineers, answered all my questions without making me feel stupid. Bit sad, but I regularly check my Internet speeds, always around or above what was promised. Hopefully as a new company, this level of service will continue and they won't get complacent like most of the competition, I googled what it meant to be a Sky diamond customer, the result just said Mug.
Excellent service from both the call centre staff and the engineers who installed my system. They made absolutely certain that it was all working correctly on all my devices at full speed. Brilliant job, well done.

Nov 10,2024Got offered fibre internet in my village by Fibre Connect, spent time with them on the phone setting up my account. Sales person took me through the entire process, but I asked him: are you sure its possible? There are no fibre cables leading up to my house. He claimed it was. Had to send them all sorts of stuff to prove who I was, proof of address, easily spent half an hour with this. Then had to make an appointment on their website for it to be installed. This appointment then was cancelled and rescheduled several times. After several emails that they sent to me telling me “What are you waiting for? Schedule your installation’” I reach out to them saying I have scheduled it several times now, but the website keeps cancelling it, I finally get acall from them saying: “yeah sorry, fibre is not possible where you live. No cables in the ground see. But we’ll keep your account active in case something changes in the future.” Since then they are targeting me with flyers and emails for me to get a phone line or a mobile number with them. Would not recommend.
