Jan 23,2024Fantastic customer service. I had a few questions before making a purchase and the team were incredibly helpful! I went on to purchase sprung handles which were fitted last week. They are amazing and the joiner was very impressed with the quality. Will 100% be purchasing again :)

Jan 19,2024I spent a small fortune on door handles and switches, and I am fairly disappointed with the quality. Given the high price I was expecting a lot better. We have used the bronze door knobs throughout our house and my biggest frustration is that the grub screws frequently come loose and the handles start to slide off. A guest once pulled a handle clean off. About once a month I have to go around tightening any screws on handles that have started to come loose. It’s very annoying. In addition they wear very easily. It’s in the description that they’ll wear to give an aged look, which in itself isn’t the issue. What’s a little disappointing is that the surface coat wears very easily - or at least it has on some of the handles. Anyone wearing rings can easily scratch the surface and so instead of an even effect they just look quite obviously scratched given the contrast between the surface coat colour and the layer below. A similar thing happens on the toggle switches. The toggle is just plastic and the bronze coating scratches quite easily. All in all I expected a lot better. Premium prices, not necessarily premium products. Update: I have to say I have been extremely impressed by the response from Corston, really first rate customer service. Thank you Aimee, look forward to getting the new handles.

Jan 08,2024We had an issue with one of our lights. I emailed them and they immediately sent a new one out, no questions asked. We've recently renovated out whole house and replaced everything - we've had a couple of less than positive experiences. Corston have been one of the best we have dealt with and we would recommend them entirely.

Dec 08,2023I have been trying to find small, stylish spotlights for months. Came across this firm and ordered spotlights and a pendant light and I absolutely love them. Better than they looked in the pictures and so pleased I bought them. They were let down by the delivery firm, but when I rang Corston they were so helpful, sorted a new delivery and gave brilliant customer service. Highly recommend!!

Nov 23,2023Interrupteurs livrés rapidement … mais pas standardisés France (notre électricien ne peux pas les poser) donc obligée de les retourner pour .. 30 euros ! Aucune autre possibilité ! Pas de réponse au mail de mécontentement … une entreprise anglaise qui part à la conquête du marché français en utilisant les codes du luxe… mais en adaptant ni ses produits, ni sa politique de retour ! Dommage ! Passez votre chemin, des entreprises comme Legrand ou Modelec vous proposeront des interrupteurs en laiton tout aussi beaux et vous ne perdrez ni votre temps… ni votre argent !

The customer service when I asked for advice was fabulous, Emily the advisor was well informed and replied very quickly. I would highly recommend this company and their products.

Aug 17,2023Have emailed query to Corston and yet to receive a response- we've replaced a number of doors during our current renovation and I was so excited to see the brass door hardware go on. 90% of the handles wobble, don't return to a horizontal position and quite frankly, cost a small fortune. We have also experienced the handles frequently pulling right off. Would appreciate a suggestion as to how to proceed, given the cost, labour to install and we are left with inadequate door hardware.

Mar 22,2023We couldnt recommend Corston products enough. 10/10 quality and style. We actually had some alternative handles installed and we just were not quite happy with the finish. We then purchased a sample from Corston and could instantly see the difference! The finish, the weight of the solid brass, everything was what we were missing. We then decided to order more samples such as the sockets and switches. All items were perfect and decided to to change everything possible in the whole house. We couldnt be happier. The whole team are polite and helpful and answered all of our questions and guided us to the right products for our project. Will be returning to Corston for all future projects!

Mar 06,2023We used Corston dimmers, switches, hooks and handles throughout our house and have found them to look nice but be of rather poor quality. Several dimmers stopped working within a few weeks, some light switches would stick to the plate so you'd have to pull them back into position.

Feb 05,2023I’ve bought and installed a number of Corston’s antique brass sockets/switches and handles across our house and have consistently been happy with the results. Yes, they’re expensive. But they look fantastic. Equally shipping has also been incredibly quick.

Nov 30,2022stay away from their solid brass handles. They're just plain rubbish. They're wobbly all the time, and they never come back to fully horizontal position because the handle is too heavy and the latch is just nor powerful enough. We tried 3 different heavy sprung latches, including their own of course. Nothing works. Email to Corston returned a very dull and lame "try adjusting the grub screw".. OF COURSE WE ALREADY TRIED THAT you amateur muppets...

Jan 25,2024We ordered Poplar doorknobs, Harper handles, Warwick thumb turns, light & strong latches and t-bar furniture handles in the bronze finish from Corston. I am really disappointed with the door handles. We originally ordered knobs for downstairs and handles for upstairs. The knobs were so stiff to turn even with light latches that Corston had to replace them with handles. The handles are now variously tight to turn or loose, they don’t sit horizontally and flop down at an angle. I’m really disappointed with them. We’ve had a full downstairs extension and refurbishment upstairs and the Corston door handles are the one thing that I regret buying. The builders also said they weren’t straightforward to fit so took a lot of time, and even more time when the knobs had to be replaced with handles. We’ve tried tightening the grub screw as recommended by Corston but this hasn’t helped. I wish I’d bought light latches for all the door as the strong latches are really too stiff (but was advised over the phone to get light latches for doorknobs/bathroom doors and strong latches for other doors) Customer service to get the knobs replaced was good when I eventually got to speak to someone but it took a long time to get through on the phone, and multiple attempts. The message says to leave a message or email but no one gets back promptly. They said they would refund part of my order but this didn’t happen automatically so I had to phone to remind them to process the refund. All in all quite a lot of hassle and a very disappointing product.
