They never informed me I would have to cancel a membership from standard scores llc and I was charged $24.99 after the one week “trial” that was never informed of. I attempted to call them and have it refunded but they said they don’t do refunds. So I’m stuck paying an extra $24.99 because of poor information

I gave a 5* for Mr. Angel Sierra because he genuinely cared about me and my getting credit straight. My credit is very important to me and he knew it. Deciding to join the credit program is thanks to Mr. Sierra effectively explaining to me how it will benefit me.
I had negative remarks on my credit report that I had no idea could be removed. Cayne was a life saver! She’s an excellent rep with plenty of knowledge. Definitely an asset to your company.
Did some research on the company. The medium tenure is .3 years. That means the average person works for them for 3 months and quits. Suspicious. Almost all of the listed employees live outside of the US. a lot of them in Brazil. Interesting. And the one star review is because they pretended to be credit karma, took advantage of me during a stressful situation, signed me up for a subscription I did not consent to. Take the proper steps to report this company. So sorry for anyone who anything from them.
I called Credit Clerk due to an authorized hard inquiry on my credit. You have every right to be suspicious of this organization, as they asked for my credit card information and SSN over the phone, without being one of the credit bureaus. Now this is not dispositive as to why I should cast suspicion on them, but what followed made me extremely suspicious. The customer service was good and overzealous- they were overeager to get me into a contract with them, which can be canceled at any time. I plan to cancel my contract with them ASAP. However, they promised me that they could get rid of a hard inquiry I explicitly stated that I authorized while I was on the phone with them- which is illegal. It is illegal to attempt to rid yourself of a hard inquiry you authorized. Do not ever trust a credit repair organization that claims that they can help you with an illegal act. This is why I chose not to proceed with my customer relationship with them. Additionally, I waited some time after and checked for unauthorized charges. After checking my online banking portal and spam mail- I noticed that I was signed up for a credit monitoring system without my consent. If I do not call them over the phone in a few days, they will begin charging my credit card around $25/month. I will be doing this soon, but I believe that this organization preys on those in vulnerable positions to extract more and more cash from them, even if they perform the services which are promised. Truly, if you are struggling with an unauthorized hard inquiry into your credit, contact one of the three credit bureaus or talk to the institution who performed the hard inquiry and attempt to resolve the issue with them.

I feel scammed. I searched for a number to one of the Credit Bureas. I called a number and spoke to a very nice person at Credit Clerk. She made me believe that I was speaking to the credit bureau. I was not aware of Credit Clerk until after I received the confirmation email. She told me I had to pay $1 to get a report pulled so they could look into the dispute. I asked what name would appear on my cc and was told Standard Scores. I asked why it didn't say the name of the credit bureau and she said that was the service they used. She later told me the errors on my account and my credit score will increase by 120 points after they were removed. The Associate told me that it would cost $378 for the service. I was shocked but still thought I was speaking directly to the credit bureau that I tried to reach. I asked why I received an email fro. Credit Clerk, she said that Credit Clerk was a sevice contracted by the credit beruea that I thought I called. She said it in a manner that made me think this was a department of the bureau. She said I had to approve the credit card transaction through my bank inorder to proceed and that I only needed to make this one time payment. I asked her about the email and $99 monthly fee. She said I would not have to pay anything additional unless I had a new dispute some time in the future and that's when the $99 per month fee would start. I've been trying to call Credit Clerk back with the "direct number" the associate provided me. I've been holding for 40min. I had to use a different phone to call the original number to get someone to answer because I didn't get an answer with the phone number that they have on file. I reached a different associate and explained the issue to her, she transfered me to Customer Service but refused to give me the direct number when I asked. I've on hold for 30min waiting for customer service. I had to use yet another number to call them and speak to a live agent. I asked for the custom service number, she didn't provide it but would transfer me. I asked if Customer Sevice was open today and if I would actually speak to someone. She said yes. I'm now on hold using 2 different phone numbers and no one has answered. I need a refund. I was going to consider using this sevice in the future when I could afford it but now I see that they are employing bait and switch tactics. I need to cancel the membership because it was provided under false pretense that I was speaking directly to the Credit Bureau.
