Feb 17,2025Did not have to load up a card with money. Just connected with bank and used as and when required especially when travelling to get best exchange rates and low transaction fees. No cash withdrawal fees too.

Feb 17,2025It was so easy to use the Currensea card, it just took the money direct from my bank BUT didn’t charge me any extra in foreign charges. Also the contactless feature was accepted everywhere I used it whereas my bank contactless kept insisting on entering my pin, both are Mastercard so I don’t know why my bank cards were more problematic. Currensea just made everything smoother.

Feb 16,2025After some quick research I went with Cuurensea for my recent three week trip around Sri Lanka & the Maldives. It was a great choice; the Currensea card is so easy to set up and to use, no different from a debit card in the UK. Within seconds (if you have wifi or a eSim) you are updated on your spending, shown both in the currency spent and in Sterling, and showing how much you saved by not using your normal debit card. The card was never declined and the App is really easy to use & navigate. The refer a friend scheme earned me a tenner too.

Feb 14,2025The app is very easy to use and what I found particulalrly welcome is the detail provided for each transaction. This included the amount spent both in Sterling and local currency, the exchange rate and the time and location of the transaction, including a very handy map (great for keeping track of several purchases made in different locations). Would certainly recommend!

Feb 13,2025I got a currency card 2023 to go to America,I found it so easy to use. I used it again in 2024 for Canada, you can check on your currency account the difference in rates. I’ve not had an issue with it. Going at Europe in 2025 , so I don’t see a problem with using it in different countries. Definitely worth having
