Feb 11,2025I do a fair bit of travelling and I no longer need to think about taking any foreign currency now that I have the Currensea card. As soon as I land at my destination, I will use an airport cash machine to withdraw what I need, knowing the rate will be way better than any of the travel bureau's, or if I had pre-arranged currency from my bank. It is possible to use the card for purchases whilst abroad as well, so it makes life really easy. The exchange rate is the same as the Santander Zero credit card, which is a specialist travel credit card, but not available to new customers.

Feb 11,2025Really easy to use and accepted virtually everywhere. Can be used directly from your phone device as a contactless option. Love the instant confirmation spend message and currency conversion as an additional security and budgeting tool.

Feb 11,2025Very good travel card for India. It links to your bank account and converts as you use it. You can withdraw upto £500 month in cash from ATMs for a small mark up. The app is easy to use. I had a query with a charge which was handled quickly. It turned out to be an ATM charge from HDFC bank in India. Charges can be avoided by using state banks like bank of baroda or bank of India ATMs which are free. They also gave me a free £10 top up for using the card.

So easy to set up and really easy to use abroad - knowing too, that you are not paying all those banking FX fees! One query was dealt with super fast and so well. Feb 11,2025You were texted as soon as you made a purchase with your card and you knew exactly what about you had paid in uk money and you got a summary of what you had spent and saved buy using your card

Very fast notification of the spend in GBP after each transaction. Track your spend easily because it’s all in one place. And if you are sharing costs, it’s easy to calculate the total spend because it’s all in one place.

Feb 11,2025Using this card abroad is very good. Easy. Nobody queries you. When you put a card over the counter it's fine. I went from Thailand to Vietnam back to Thailand and used it in both countries without any problems and saving money as well. I wish I'd had this card sooner
