A Good Choice overall in terms of the Elements of the Cover for the Cycle. In Particular Theft and Damage. I found that these Elements involved separate Costs with other Providers, so all good.
Having bought my first ebike and the most expensive bike I have ever bought I thought it sensible to insure it. A quick look at comparison websites and a straight forward application gave me instant cover.
The gent who I spoke to, who provided the quote etc was ace... He was abundantly clear, patient with comprehensive product knowledge... Above all, he actively listened and provided sound impartial information surrounding my policy needs. Cheers mate... although these reviews are futile and usually fall on deaf ears...
Good communication and completed process guickly better to speak to an operator rather than trying to navigate around the site. Recommended.
Fairly easy to do online. Rather surprised you didn't want the frame number or the battery number for identification. An excellent price for a lot better cover than my house insurance.
Easy to use website that clearly displayed the various options available and how much they cost. The cover I selected was very competitive compared to other providers.
Simple and quick to use, with a very competitive price.
I must say that my overall impression is a bit mixed. I encountered an issue with my excess, which inexplicably changed from £0 to £50 after a renewal. I reached out to Cycleplan, and to their credit, they resolved this issue and reset my excess back to £0. This initial interaction left me with a favorable impression of their customer service and willingness to address problems efficiently. However, when I had to make a claim. The claim process turned out to be a rather frustrating and time-consuming ordeal. It took a whopping three weeks for my claim to be processed and settled, which felt unbearably slow. The management of my claim was outsourced to Davies Group, which perhaps contributed to the prolonged timeline. While I understand that claim processing can take some time, three weeks felt excessive, and the lack of communication and updates during this period was disappointing. Another noteworthy aspect of the claim process is that the payout was calculated on a cash basis, referencing the ebikes.co.uk listing for my bicycle. This meant that I didn't receive the full amount I originally paid for my bike. While this is a standard practice, it was still a bit disheartening not to be reimbursed for the full purchase price of my bike. In summary, my experience with Cycleplan had its ups and downs. They were quick to resolve an issue with my excess, demonstrating good customer service in that instance. However, the slow claim processing time left me somewhat dissatisfied. It's important for insurance providers to strike a balance, Cycleplan claims could have been a lot quicker
Very clear and easy, plus the best price, well done!
Cheaper to book online by £50 for the same cover. Operator couldn't see the online pricing.
Got good cover for a £4000 Cannondale Road bike for under £15 a month. That's just 3 coffee stops ☕🍰🍩🚲
very simple and good value
Competitively priced. Quick and easy to set up
Very competitive price for a good level of insurance cover for my two Giant E mountain bikes
Fast quote, good to not have pages, and pages to fill in.
Excellent price for a comprehensive insurance covering all I required
It was easy to set up my bike insurance online. The price was good too.
You never truly know how good an insurance company is until you have to make a claim, hopefully I never will, I lock my bike as if I have no insurance, but so far this is a good experience, great price easy to understand the small print.
A very good service
