Getting a quote was easy although there was a problem with the system taking payment. A telephone call resolved this quickly and the person on the phone was polite and friendly.
Good value insurance. Full cover Inc home and away, on car cover, etc.
Very large range of quality bikes. The staff where very helpful in helping me with how to measure myself as to what size bike I needed. Fast delivery once everything was sorted.
Phone coversation with an experienced and helpful Agent re purchase of insurance cover.
Easy no fuss.
Taken insurance out and the files that came are a bit confusing to say the least . Simple language as to what to do to claim . And anything you can't claim for . I think 7 files and trying to read on a phone is a bit excessive.
Nothing really, filled in the application got some cover
I bought 2 motorcycle locks, harden steel 8mm fir our 3 bikes, one was 1.7 mtrs and ghe other 1 mtr long. Now I've took out your insurance these locks are useless so I have had to buy 2 more locks that you stipulate are only to be used even thought they are only for cycles (push bikes). So that's another £60 I have had to spend. Not happy.
Ease of application and speed of response
Web site easy to navigate
Helpful staff , got what I wanted
Great agent. He was really helpful, sorted everything out and got back to me quickly.
Easy to book online and seems competitive in price
Easy and straightforward
THEY WILL WEASEL OUT OF HONOURING YOUR INSURANCE CLAIM IF POSSIBLE SO BE SURE TO READ YOUR POLICY DOCUMENT, ESPECIALLY CLAUSE 9. STIPULATING THAT YOU MUST NOTIFY THE POLICE OF THE THEFT WITHIN 24 HOURS. To be clear this is not car insurance. Like many people who have had bikes stolen, I hold little faith that the police will take much trouble in searching for my bike, or in this case my bike battery. I took out my cover with cycle plan years before and missed or forgot about the fine print stipulating that any theft must be reported to the police in 24hours. So when my bike battery was stolen I didn't think much of rushing off to make a police report, I made my claim first intending to call the police the next day. I was then called by Cycle Plan and told by a delighted customer service member that my claim was rejected because I have missed that24hr police report window. Now clearly Cycleplan knows that 24 hours makes zero difference to whether the London police recover your bike. My guess would be, that this is a very deliberate and clever way of avoiding payment on claim for policy holder who either missed the fine print (point 9) or forgot years down the track. It's a pretty dodgy clause. DON'T LET THEM GET AWAY WITH IT MAKE YOUR POLICE REPORT WITHIN 24 HOURS.
I hope so help
Straightforward it would seem, website. First time buying cycle insurance, so hopefully all will be good.
Having recently had my bike stolen but thankfully returned I decided to look at getting it insured . Spent a long time looking at various options but having read the reviews decided Cycle Plan best suited my needs. It is good to have peace of mind and options to have choice of cover to best meet my needs. Easy to set up online price seems good. I hope I never have to make a claim but guess if I di that'll be the test if hiw good this company really uz
Easy company to use,and great value

Sep 25,2023This is a truly awful company - when making any claim, they insist you do it over the phone and have no proforma claim form to make a claim quick andd straight forward. That would be too easy. Instead they MAKE you talk to them and if you make the slightest verbal error regarding their appalling policy conditions - you can't ride anywhere and leave your bike outside overnight for example as that is deemed "ABANDONED" - they then null and void your claim! Please AVOID AVOID AVOID this company and do not take out the Halfords "(non) insurance" whilst they continue to promote this company. Listen up HALFORDS - this company gives you a very bad reputation: Please do not continue to use them - yes you get a kick back, but I for one will never use Halfords again!
