I have separate travel insurance. I just wanted a simple plan to cover my bike whilst touring abroad and away from home. This was just the plan and simple to set up.

They unfortunately don't cover bikes locked in a bike hangar, even though this is probably one of the safest ways to store your bikes in London. Makes it useless for those of us living in flats, so be aware!

It's taken me over two years to attempt to get my excess back after claiming for a non fault incident. Many calls and emails later, seems they are putting endless hoops in front of me to jump through. Cheap but not worth the effort IMO. Update: I've since had the comment below added, however they are incorrect here since I was at no fault. I have also been promised this multiple times but never paid.

Awful. I got a Silver level lock instead of a Gold level lock for a 2000 GBP bike, and now they don't even want to cover the 1000 GBP that they would normally cover for a Silver level lock coverage. They will do anything not to honour their commitment. BEWARE!
