Bought an outdoor table set. Chairs were poorly packaged and arrived damaged. Arranged for replacement chairs which didn’t arrive initially but were replaced second time round. Customer service team have followed up promptly and sorted the issues.

Ordered a le creuset bowl which was shown online to have the brand name printed across the bowl, the one delivered was plain. False advertisement and I’m very disappointed.

Purchased homeware items instore, though not everything was available. Very helpful and informative staff who apologised for unavailable items as due to current world events not all their orders from suppliers could be filled! The two stores in Clitheroe and Skipton are large and spacious and I can always find something for the home in them so will be back.

Great online business. I ordered a large collection of Villeroy & Boch tableware. Slightly hesitant about it all arriving in one piece, but excellent products superbly packaged. All items arrived safely. Saturday delivery with tracking details & delivery slot well communicated. Happy to support local businesses & avoid a certain online giant. Cheers guys!

Found lots of quality bargains on a Sunday and purchased them online. Hadn’t heard anything by Tuesday, so had a virtual chat only to be told that most of my items weren’t actually available. To be fair I got an instant refund, but if stock isn’t live, what’s the point of shopping online?

I just purchased some pillow shams that I was unable to get elsewhere to complete my set. They answered the phone quickly (by a real person) and could not be more helpful. I placed an order and it was delivered in a few days. Am very pleased. Thank you.

Ordered some Portmeirion pottery as they were a really good price, cheapest I could find. The look and feel of the website is a bit dated but other than that everything else is spot on. Order was delivered really quickly and very well packaged, loads of padding. Can't fault the service or product, 5 stars from me, will definitely be using again.

She who must be obeyed wanted a new mixer so we drove to our local(100mile round trip) Lakeland @Windermere. She saw what she wanted priced at £549 no offers available. Came home and found the same item on ecookshop.co.uk for£440. Ordered on Friday morning was delivered @14:35 Saturday in a well packaged double box. Excellent service from Dawsons, happy to recommend.

I ordered online - easy process although the website feels a bit dated and I had to checkout as guest (minor issue). A few days after ordering I changed my mind and they were happy to help. Everyone I spoke to was very helpful. I ended up getting a bigger model (they even gave me a discount) which is due to arrive tomorrow so they have done their part - it’s down to the pallet company now. Very happy to recommend them due to the ease of speaking to a real person on the phone and the speed of delivery.

I ordered 2 Christmas buildings, and several figurines, to add to my Christmas village display. When they arrived they were well protected and packed. When I unwrapped them I was aware some small pieces had come unglued, and one of the figurines had a broken hand. I informed Dawsons, and Jason from customer support, asked me to send some photos. This I did, and I received a reply back saying he would give me a small discount for the damaged items, or replacement if that was agreeable. I decided the small items could be repaired by me, as I was quite happy with the original price reduction, and the quality of the product. I was also impressed by the customer support from Jason. I volunteered this review as I try to promote companies I like and trust. I will always give an honest review of how I am treated by companies , as I would like people to know there are good, honest companies out there, and provided you are polite and pleasant when making a complaint, most of the time you can get a fair result.

I ordered over £100 of plates/bowls le crusette from eCookshop as a Christmas present for our daughter which were received very quickly and well packaged. However upon unwrapping and examine each item two of the plates were badly scratched/ marked and were clearly seconds which should have been very apparent before despatch. When I emailed the company Dawson’s I got a response asking me to package up the two plates and return them using an emailed return label to the parcel despatch location in the town centre. I couldn’t really understand why when they were at fault I should have the inconvenience of packaging and returning these items to the despatch location. I wrote back to explain that I didn’t have a printer to print the label and as the original packaging still contained the remainder of the order I had nothing in which to package the two plates for return. I also explained that packaging and going to the despatch centre would be extremely difficult as I have a disability and they should collect. They then said that they would send a courier to collect the packaged plates but as no collection time could be given I had to wait in all day. Once the plates were returned I received a phone call to say that on checking the plates intended for my replacements were also faulty but they could return the plates I had rejected and give me a discount which I refused. I was then left having to source just two plates elsewhere. In their favour the refund was prompt but given all the hassle and inconvenience I would not recommend this company nor ever buy from them again.

Fantastic service! I bought a Weber gas barbecue and cover. Ordered online + was delivered on a pallet, well packaged, in less than 24 hours! I decided to return the cover - nothing wrong with it, but I realised after ordering that Weber offered a premium version, which BBQ World didn't have in stock. I couldn't find my return form and so rang up for help. The phone was answered 1st ring by a very polite and helpful lady who emailed a pdf copy to me and confirmed what to do. I sent back the cover and was refunded within a week of me posting it. Brilliant service 👏 I have since been back to buy a thermometer which, like the barbecue, had a good discount offer. That also arrived within a couple of days by DHP with email updates about the delivery schedule and confirmation of delivery, on time with a photo. All companies should be this good - well done!

My order of Denby bowls was placed late on a Wednesday night and arrived at 9:45am Friday. It qualified for free courier delivery and was superbly packed to ensure everything arrived in perfect condition. Superb service, quality and value. Can’t ask for more. Thank you Dawsons. Will buy from you again.

Excellent customer care. I purchased a Le Creuset casserole dish and the box was torn in transit. Customer care were just brilliant. Very helpful and courteous. New box promptly delivered at no extra charge to me. I will definitely use them again

.. First purchase with this supplier. Ordered six Jamie Oliver White Churchill mugs at 10:56am on Saturday 13th November and DPD delivered them to me just three days later at 9:26am on Tuesday the 16th. Double boxed plus bubble wrap they all arrived safely. Put them in the dishwasher and we were using them at lunch. First class service and best price we could find for this product. We hope to use them again - especially with Christmas coming up - especially if they will post direct to the recipients. ..

Was sceptical about extremely low price Denby cast iron dish but to my surprise it arrived in perfect condition, it is the real deal and incredibly speedy delivery. Cannot fault Dawson’s at all (selling via ecookshop.co.uk). I’m often nervous about buying from shops I haven’t heard of but safe to say I will be buying again. Excellently competitive prices.
