Jun 28,2024In short, Mike Linkous is a medical provider of the highest calibre. He is not only extremely intelligent but his thoroughness demonstrates how much he really cares about his patients' well-being. My wife is a physician herself & was amazed when I told her Mike went through each of my lab results individually, highlighted which metrics have the biggest impact on your quality of life, which metrics have the biggest impact on your longevity (& warrant more frequent observation), as well as thoroughly explained the various medication options available to me. Background: I'm a man in my mid-30s who, prior to joining Defy, was suffering from low T, excessive weight gain & couldn't lose weight despite a strict diet. After deciding to see my MD to rule out my hormonal issues, I was ultidiagnosed with Hashimoto's & hypogonadism. Back then I was also pre-diabetic w/an A1C of 5.9, had low energy, daily anxiety, little motivation and no libido which was causinflg stress in my marriage bc my wife & I wanted to start a family. Since joining Defy, in the last 4 months I've dropped 20 lbs while gaining significant strength on my bench press, overhead press, deadlift & pulldowns, so the 20 lbs is clearly almost entirely fat loss. My libido is like I'm 16 again, my strength in the gym is ridiculous & my recovery is fantastic. Labs are all now in "Excellent" range including glucose, with A1C falling from a pre-diabetic 5.9 to very healthy 5.0 in the first 6 weeks after beginning treatment. And best of all my wife is now pregnant :) To say its wildly exceeded my expectations would be the understatement of the century.
