May 02,2015It is very difficult to find what I was looking for in this country...a finnish towel that is like a loofah for my itchy dry skin. But Didriks is the only place that has it and I was very, very happy. The staff let me know that it would take awhile to get it but it was sooner than expected. It just arrived today and I love it. I have had my old one for about 13 years and it is still in good condition but I wanted to make sure that I could replace it. Yeah!!!

Apr 15,2015I was given a gift card to Didriks and so enjoyed my visit to the store. The buyers have a fabulous sense of style evidenced by fabulously chic and elegant products along with others that were playful and quite beuatiful. In addition, the displays are lovely and there were several things that called to me so it was hard to make a choice. A feast for the eyes and the staff was a pleasure to deal with.... In short, a wonderful experience..!!

Apr 09,2015I was purchasing a gift I knew very little about and the sales person that assisted me was extremely personable. She described the product I was interested in, gave me some background on it and patiently waited until I picked out 16 or so colors. Then she put in the order and shipped it out to California for me. I was totally unfamiliar with your store as I live in California however now that I am aware of your products I will eventually purchase merchandise from Didriks again. It is an awesome store with awesome gifts for weddings, friends and of course, myself.

Apr 09,2015I was looking for a particular item (Sabre spoons) and Didriks was one of the only places I could find that sold them online. They also had a great price! The customer service was great and contacted me with any changes in my order - the spoons were on order from France. They arrived as and when expected. I am happy with my purchase and experience shopping at Didriks.

Apr 08,2015The two knives that I purchased from Didrik's were on back order. But, the representative of the shipping department, Chris, emailed me promptly to inform me of the back order. Both knives came sooner than expected, and the box had my name handwritten on it. This is a great company to buy from, and I will be doing so in the future!

Apr 08,2015I love the things at Didrik's and always find something I want to give or enjoy. That said, I have been a customer of this shop since it opened, both in small and, what I consider, big purchases and I have never had the feeling that there is an appreciation for the long-term value of a customer. Everyone is always courteous but I feel very anonymous regardless of how long I have been loyal to the shop. A first step would be to have some type of customer loyalty program, although I sense Didrik's might consider this something more appropriate to a commodity shop. Truly great stores provide the counter staff with a full insight into the customer's history at the time of sale to provide them with either a simple "thank you for your continued business" or some nominal discount at point of sale. This is commerce 101and for high end shops, in particular, the relationship is the most important part of continued business, but I think Didrik's has missed this opportunity to help customers feel like the loyalty is reciprocated and acknowledged.
