Feb 10,2022Thinking Capital has a serious flaw in their system whereby after providing your most recent months of bank statements and a void cheque as they request to apply for a business loan with them, that if their team fails to prepare an offer in time before the end of any given month, their system will not produce an offer for you with no workaround possible. This was confirmed to me by Colin, a Senior Customer Success Advisor, who also later identified himself to me over the phone as a Senior Manager working at Thinking Capital. I was misled by Colin last month into providing my recent bank statements believing in good faith that they would be used to provide a business loan offer. Their website advertising also falsely led me to believe that after applying I would find out my borrowing limit in minutes. This known serious flaw was not publicized on their website or disclosed to me before I provided to them my detailed bank statements. Had I known that such a serious undisclosed flaw existed with their system beforehand, I would not have agreed to provide the set of bank statements and the void cheque Colin requested on January 31 if it may have required an additional bank statement later to move forward with an offer.

Had to provide tons of documents and after verifying and all were good, I was approved but still had to wait for a month to the point that I had to get another lender. Would definitely not recommend if you are just starting a business. Although, Mr. Naime was very helpful from the beginning to end - the process was way too long and followup didn't happen in timely fashion! Thank you very much for the support you provided !!

Jun 10,2021I have worked with Colin on a couple of occasions and the experience has been phenomenal with him and the company. By nature I am very leery of online financing - I had not done it before for our business, and because we recently incorporated, we had difficulties securing financing with other financial institutions. However, I was blown away with the level of service, the efficiency of delivering funds, and ease of making adjustments as time goes on. I will definitely be using Thinking Capital again.

May 24,2021BE VERY CAREFUL. They have multiple costs for borrowing! 1. They have borrowing costs - Flat fee you MUST pay. 2. Daily interest (completely separate) from your borrowing fee. This is the sneaky part they hide it in the fine print. 3. Fees on delayed payments 4. Probably many other ways of sucking you dry You could be paying upwards of 70% on your loan.
