Mar 05,2025My robe just arrived and it’s absolutely gorgeous. The colour is perfect (Anthracite) and the number of pockets amazing. I love it and only wish I’d bought one before. The service from D-robe is brilliant (thank you Mark) - they are friendly, professional and efficient . 10/10.

Mar 05,2025Just got a Beaufort robe, bought for me by a friend, I tried it out walking my Labrador and can honestly say I have never felt so snug and warm on a windy walk. The best gift I've ever been given. 11 out of 10, I would recommend it for any dog walkers or just if you enjoy walking and want to be warm and snug.

Feb 21,2025I got my coat in November 2024 and have waited until now (Feb 25) for this review so that I could put it through its paces. I use this coat for dog walking. My dog needs to walk twice a day even in the 4 named storms and the bitterly cold January we have had since I got the coat and boy was I glad I had the coat! Pros: Incredibly warm. I was actually HOT in the coat when it was -4 on one of my walks. Even if standing around you stay warm. I am not a "naturally" warm person, for reference I tend to need a solid 28C before I get shorts on. When we had 60-70mph gusts and winds, during the first storm, the hood stayed put thanks to the drawstring and the fact it is a structured hood with piping around the edge. This is also truly windproof. I didn't feel a thing and the wind was truly strong (branches of trees falling into the river and aluminum roadwork signs being picked up by the wind - yes the dog really does need walking (husky)). The fabric is easy to wipe down if it gets muddy. The arms are not too long and you can adjust the wrist width so when it's bucketing it down water doesn't go up the sleeve. The branding is discrete. The lined pockets keep my hands very warm. It has multiple pockets and a pull out pouch that could be handy. Reflective piping on the hood and back of the coat are great for dark winter walks along the roadside. Cons: I agree with other reviewers on the zips, the main zip is quite tough and it takes a few wears for it to loosen up and not get caught and not take an age to line up at the bottom before you can zip. The elastic ties on the pocket zippers come undone as soon as you use them and eventually they both fell out. I don't see the point of them to be honest. The pocket zippers do get stuck in the lining if you aren't careful. I have managed to fix it in the past but one of my pocket zips is currently in the stuck position unable to be moved. As the neck comes up very high it can be irritating having the stiff zipped part at the top resting on your chin just below your bottom lip. The fleece lining isn't removable so this is only wearable in winter - so still need a storm coat for summer/spring. Neutral: The coat is big but that is the very concept of a change robe. In fact this is cut a lot narrower than its competitors; for me that is a good thing. The coats came in a huge box with a re-usable branded tote. I like having the tote, and I have used it. But I guess in today's world we all have so many re-usable bags some may say we don't need more. Some may also find it hard to fit the box in the recycling. Perhaps they could find smaller packaging? Not an issue for me though. Customer Service: I ended up buying 3 coats for for Xmas. Shipping was incredibly fast (next day in some cases). Customer service was fast acting and pragmatic. I was buying a coat during "Black Friday" and wanted to use a £10 off voucher but as there was already a "Black Friday" deal (free beanie) the beanie is automatically applied at checkout I wasn't able to remove the beanie and you can't use the £10 voucher with the beanie deal. I emailed customer service to say I did not want the beanie so they didn't pack the beanie and issued a £10 refund. When I had to order another 2 coats I ended up getting the beanies and gave one as a gift and kept one. I was so surprised at how soft and non-itchy the beanie is! It really was fine merino wool. I noticed a recipient of one of the coats was wearing the coat and beanie on their recent trip to New York where the coat kept them warm in the snow and I heard they got compliments on the coat! To sum up - I'm very happy with my coat and so are all the recipients. This has made winter walks bearable. If only they made mitts I would get those too!

Feb 03,2025love the product. however, the elastic on the hood snapped first time i used it and the zip is a dreadful design and jams on the internal lining. other than this its a good product.

Feb 01,2025Wanted a nice thick robe for winter but unfortunately they all came with a big slogans on the back making them look really tacky and cheep. Then I found D-Robe. Absolutely love the robe. It’s super stylish and cosy I have had so many compliments on it already. Love all the pockets and the colour contrast. Decent size hood covers your full head and face.

Jan 28,2025Love this coat! So warm and blocks the wind great. It’s a little stiff but I’m hopeful over time it will soften up a bit. I also feel it needs to be in order to block the wind. I ordered a medium initially based off the size chart but it was too big. I reached out to customer service to exchange for a small and I also asked to exchange for a different color. Customer service handled my request efficiently and with kindness.

Jan 22,2025I have been so impressed with this company, I emailed to enquire which size I should buy as I was undecided between adult small or kids , I’m 4’9 and size 10, I received a response so quickly advising me to choose the kids size and it fits perfectly, such good quality and cosy, as if that isn’t good enough I ordered Sunday evening and it arrived Tuesday !! Fantastic service

Jan 14,2025D-Robe were absolutely amazing. They kindly exchanged my robe for a different colour (not once but twice) and it was free of charge. It is rare to find such fantastic customer service.Their friendly manner and professionalism are to be commended. The robe is gorgeous - I love the fact my legs are no longer cold on my dog walks. Lovely quality and snuggly soft lining and also smart. I would highly recommend their D robe. I was bought a size XS and it's a great fit. I'm 5'4 and a size 10. Jan 07,2025Excellent coat & customer service! The coat is very cosy and fully waterproof. I am 5’2 so downsized to the kids size which was perfect. I had to return my original order for a smaller size and I had a few queries. The customer service was very efficient and very helpful. Highly recommend D-Robe.

Jan 06,2025Amazing coat! During our recent cold snap, walking the dogs on the Forest, I almost broke out in a sweat, this coat is so warm! Windproof and 100% waterproof. Plenty of pockets and the best bit are the smooth zips! Highly recommended, you won’t regret it. Delivery is also very fast

Dec 19,2024My D-Robe is genuinely like my new cocoon. I require a coat for dog walking which will consistently keep me dry but is visually attractive enough to wear out & about without feeling ‘undone’…this one is ‘it’! I love it. One unexpected advantage is the fact the hood stays up yet is roomy enough not to feel suffocating. The coat is cosy and it’s also quite cool; when it get the nod of approval from a 20yr old, 17yr old & a 14yr old, you know you’ve found a ‘keeper’. I struggled with the zip initially but Elvira in Customer Service was extremely helpful and sent very concise instructions which rectified the issue. Definitely choose this coat - you will not regret it. (I’m 171cm & XS fits well)

Dec 17,2024I am absolutely THRILLED with my D-robe! 😃 It’s such great quality, superb fit & brilliant design! I’m 1.68m height (5’6”) & size 10…….or 8 or 12, depending which shop! I faffed for ages about which size, as I wanted a relatively snug fit rather than my old voluminous/shapeless robe that swamped me & the XS is perfect, just long enough & fine for after watersports etc. It’s been such a great experience dealing with a company like D-robe. Customer service not only reliable, efficient but also friendly & helpful too. Wish all companies were this good! 10/10 ⭐

Dec 16,2024Best coat I've ever had. It is warm and comfortable and stylish, I have had loads of comments from people asking where I bought it.. Functionally it is great as well with all the big zips and pockets etc making it super convenient. I almost rue hot days now... But when its cold and miserable this coat is like sitting by the fire even as you're out and about. And the best thing is the price, you certainly get a LOT of coat for your money... Thanks D-Robe and well done I wish all retail experiences were like this.
