Paying too much for your energy? Switch to Eco 7 today. We will save you money.
Please note: This company is not Economy Energy. That company is no longer operating and unfortunately, a number of ex-customers have reviewed this page mistakenly.
Your monthly invoice may tell you that you are on their cheapest tariff, but opt to switch to another supplier, and miraculously, you'll be offered a cheaper one! That happened to me, but I chose to leave anyway....I don't like being lied to. EDIT: It seems that you have to keep checking your bills, following my initial review, Economy 7 reviewed my account to find that I had been overcharged by over £80 and refunded it.
The request to swap over to Economy Seven Energy has been smooth and easy so far. Still early days as I am still in tje cooling period, but the site was easy and simple to use.
They’ve been easy enough to deal with and any problems have been sorted out pretty quickly. Only gripe would be it would be better if they made switching to a different tarrif more seamless. Had to put new details in even though I am already a customer and have an account. Maybe better if you can switch directly from your account. Also would be good if you could see actual usage in KWh more clearly to be able to input easily into energy comparison quotes
Had a few question to clarify some point when looking to switch supplier. On-line chat was great - speed response, job done.
Easy to switch so far
Good prompt phone service to give initial readings but slow to get them on my account display. Otherwise fine. Readings were submitted 20 February by phone, not entered on account by 24 February but showing correctly on 25 February, the starting date, 4 or 5 days, including the weekend, not 24 hours.
Very helpful customer service and great rates
Currently in the process of switching to Eco7 Energy. Carried out online, very straightforward and easy so far, looking forward to it continuing that way. Selection made on the basis that the electricity is 100% from renewable resources. Very conscious of the adverse environmental impacts of conventional energy sources. Therefore competitive pricing a bonus!
online chat with Fahra - who dealt with my issue and also alerted me to a cheaper tariff available, which she switched us to straight away. Excellent service.
Very easy to switch over and kept upto date with the change over.
I had an online chat with Sam. She gave me two different tariffs to choose from detailing the savings I would make on each. I chose the one I wanted and he or she changed me over. Simple as that!
This is purely a review of the chat experience on the Eco 7 website. I wanted to change tariffs, but there was no obvious way to do so without contacting Eco 7, so I used their chat. Whether 'Fahra' is a bot or a person, my request appears to have been dealt with quickly and politely and without jumping through hoops. I hope the tariff change is as smooth as the chat.
Did seem very straightforward. Farha quickly changed my tariff through a quick on line chat session, but now the website has gone down...
Clean, modern and responsive website. Way less clutter and easier to find information than with other energy supplier's websites. Switching process as simple as filling out a form and clicking send. Immediately sent a PDF of tariff information.
Just switched to Economy Seven. So far the process has been easy and very straightforward.
Just a few steps in the process of switching. Straightforward and easy to use.
Mostly (or even all???) done online, switch to a cheaper and greener provider. Smoothly working website.
We had an issue with our Gas usage. Sam pinned the issue down very quickly. I am confident it will now be resolved.
Very easy switch

Mar 22,2020This "new company" is merely a front for the badly reviewed outfit called Outfox The Market. My experience with them was atrocious and this is a cheap way of trying to run away from the deservedly bad reputation they have earned themselves. Soon as I found out who they really are, I cancelled my switch. You have been warned. Avoid!
