Paying too much for your energy? Switch to Eco 7 today. We will save you money.
Please note: This company is not Economy Energy. That company is no longer operating and unfortunately, a number of ex-customers have reviewed this page mistakenly.
Since starting the service no problems have occurred. The initial monthly charge was deceptively low and was later corrected. Thre were 2 blackouts over the last year which were the fault of power stations, apparently, not this provider.
At the moment I am very happy with Economy7. I believe I am paying a fair price for the fuel I use and especially for the 'equal/fixed' payments I make each month. I feel I can trust them to give me a good deal and look after my interests along with their own.
No hassel easy to manage my account.
"Estimate of account was so far out it was a joke. Tried to take more money based on the terrible estimate, despite the fact I'd supplied 12 months previous meter readings. Finally accepted a meter reading but failed to change the direct debit so my account is currently in credit by over £200 and they continue to take £30 odd more than I use every month, that's about 25% of the whole bill. According to them in June and July I managed to use MINUS 300 Kilo watts of electricity. Look at me being all green and generating electricity, must be the Velcro hair. They've increased the price since I joined too. Will bail as soon as I can. Seriously avoid this shower of sh**. By the way I've been bribed to give a review with the offer of a price draw for an Amazon voucher. Hope I win but something tells me I won't."
The switch process was straight forward but the website and entering meter readings was not as easy as with my previous supplier. The site has been updated since and is now a little better to navigate. Also the promised savings seem a little over estimated as we approach a year post switch. Speaking to a real person on the phone is easy to do, less waiting in a line and when we have had occasion to ring the staff have always been efficient and helpful, being able to sort the issue.
Keep delaying energy meters. Increased payments which led to overpayment. Not happy
value for money no problems
It’s took so long to hear from the nearly 9 months from opening the account that I now owe a fortune! They quoted me £30 a month for combined and of course it’s far too low!
Only problem was they forgot to send me email reminders, then panicked when they realised my meters had not been read for a year
Very easy to deal with - and 100% renewable.
Not sure how annual electricity bill will pan out so reserving judgement. Not over impressed by no email prompt for meter reads.
Great service but not offering the smart meter.
Easy to switch, good prices, easy website.
It's an energy provider and it's cheap. Irritating that the marketing, supply and billing can all be in different company names. This makes them look dodgy. They seem to be okay so far.
Very poor and stressful switch, took months to get everything sorted but ok now and happy with the amount i am paying per month,£30.00 less than my original provider.
never a problem
Signing up was really easy and only took a few minutes, I received the details of the contract almost immediately and they confirmed the quoted price. The direct debit details followed within 24 hours so all I am waiting for now is the request for meter readings and to start and use this supplier. So up to now everything is great, not what Martin Lewis was suggesting by saying nothing yet known and needs thought. Only one thing perturbs me and that is why everyone asks for D.O.B. - how does this have a bearing on the price of fish?
Good and fair tariffs for electricity. I hope this will continue.
It's okay. However, charging a lot. First supplier I am in debit despite using the same amount of energy
